It's so difficult when a couple doesn't see eye to eye on finances, but I expect that's a common occurrence. It certainly applies to us: I'm interested in them but don't have the right sort of brain (if I could watch their body language, it would be a doddle). DH really doesn't like them and defaults to generosity but I'd rather that than he didn't like them and held on to every last sou - even if it means I have to be aware and think ahead a bit.

I don't do scary films. I can lie awake without them, goodness knows what state I'd be in if I was imagining things lurking in the shadows! Hope you sleep well despite that!

My DIL signed up a while ago and has only just heard from them. Your name will come up at some stage.

That's an interesting selection to try.  What's the small bottle - does it say Shanky's Whip?

Yes it does. I’ve had a sip and it tastes like Baileys without the cream. It’s quite nice.

Getting a box must be like Christmas! I signed up and accepted a trial on one of those schemes where you get sent the spices and a recipe to make a meal. Nice, but not for me. Then I was sent an offer for a product I already subscribe to, and after that, something I wouldn't use. Never a box of mixed things in sight! :D
