They have “put him the list” for a courtesy scooter 😕 We haven’t been able to go out with the dog today. She obviously wanted to go for a ride as she jumped on the scooter seat. Although he still has the scooter he can’t use it as they’ve taken the part that holds the front but together. I could’ve taken the dog over the road to the park but she hates it without the scooter, it’s her comfort zone. Too hot for her really so not an issue, she’s been pottering in the garden most of the day.

The laundry basket is empty 🥳 Just one more line to dry and put away. Even though we’re not going away until April I wanted to put the holiday clothes back in the cases as last year I packed them away with the other summer clothes and it was a bit of a faff getting them back out again.

Jet2 have cancelled flights to Skiathos as the floods have been so bad they’re rescuing people from their homes. Zante has got away very lightly by the sounds of it.

You got home just in time by the sounds of it, how worrying for everybody over there.

I hope the scooter's ready soon, for everyone's sake.

When you pack the cases away, why not also pack a layer of Mr SA's things, the ones that get worn least, so they can be 'rediscovered' when a pester starts? And pack a pink gin in case you need to 'discover' it sometime, too.

    Morning happy Friday 🥳

The cats got me up early but I’m glad to be getting back into a routine really. I think I’m back to operating on UK time now after gaining 2 hours on Wednesday.

Number one priority today is finances. Still not done the payday shuffle and it’s over a week since I got paid. Savings need to be sent to the remaining two regular savers. I need to sort out one to replace the Cov R/S.

Also plan to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean. I’ll take the dog out when she gets up as I doubt the scooter will be back today. It will be a waste of time as after a couple of half hearted runs after her ball she’ll sit looking for Mr SA. No doubt the park will need a good litter pick although another woman in the park group said she would do a mini litter pick while I was away.

I finished my current book yesterday so need to pick a new one from my shelves. After reading two light reading ones in a row I feel the need for something gritty. I came back with four books from the hotel book swap and only left one although I had planned to leave another but didn’t finish it in time. The book shelves there were absolutely heaving so I’ve not left them short.

@Cherryfudge I’ve re-packed his new shorts and T-shirts so he can’t say he’s got nothing to take next time. He’s got plenty to be wearing now. I draw the line at re-packing my gin though it’s travelled a long way 😆

Great that your additional borrowing figure is £0
I like it when regular savers mature - as I'm still relatively new to the concept of saving (such a late starter) I always feel surprised and pleased that I've saved up over 12 months and been rewarded by some interest.

I didn’t used to be although this was down to Mr SA and his love of spending. Since his illness I’ve been able to save so much more. He was an absolute nightmare with spending 😞
