It's Friday 😁 To say this was my first week back at work it's flown by!
WFH today but only until 1pm when I'll be logging off to take the dog to the vet for her annual vaccinations/check up. Mr SA is really looking forward to his coffee and sausage roll from Gr*ggs while he waits for me to look round BnM afterwards - I have a list of what I need from there, hopefully they're still doing those tiny tins of coconut milk as they are so handy to have a stock of. I won't be going mad as it's the final few days of my 4 week budget period and I'm determined to hang on to a decent surplus.
Today's exercise will be the walk to/from the vets, it's around an hour's walk each way so plenty of steps. I started doing a 30 day 10 minutes Pilates challenge on YT yesterday, I enjoyed it so I'm planning to keep it up, after all it's only 10 minutes a day. Bit random I know starting a 30 day challenge mid month but that's me all over 😆
It's going to be a quiet weekend as no visit from the GKs this Saturday. Hoping the weather will be ok as I need to do loads of garden tidying/weeding. My weather app says tomorrow will be dry but Sunday doesn't look great so will plan my tasks accordingly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
The dog has had a thorough MOT at the vets and it was discovered she has a tiny polyp in one ear, the vet doesn’t think it’s anything sinister but she’s given me some steroid drops as it looks infected. £40 for the ear drops - £40 😱 I have to take her back for a check in 3 months to see if the polyp is still there. I’ve also been advised to keep an eye on her various lumps and bumps associated with an older dog just in case they get bigger suddenly. She also had her claws trimmed.Only spent £13 in - BnM stuck to my list. Managed to get some tiny tins of coconut milk 👍 Popped in the big Mr T on the way back so I don’t need to go tomorrow 🙂 Will only need to pick a paper up locally tomorrow now.
Had an hour in my hanging chair reading my book when we got back home. 18,000 steps in one go so I was ready for a sit down.Saw an old school friend while I was out which has prompted us to schedule in a catch up lunch.Just need to clear up the dinner pots and then that’s me putting my feet up with a large glass of red 🍷I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Sunshine_girl2 said:Holiday will be lovely, are you going to do another one in August as well ?Staying in San Antonio is brilliant for people watching - you don’t half see some sights 😆 We will be walking distance from Cafe Mambo which we both love. It’s not just for young clubbers you get all age groups there.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Morning all, happy Saturday.Plans for today will almost entirely revolve around tidying the garden. It desperately needs it.Glad both of next year’s holidays are sorted. We can stop dithering about whether to go to Zante or Ibiza now. The decision has been made. I think this will be our 10th visit to Ibiza. We first went years ago when the kids were little and fell in love with the place, there’s just something about it.It should be a very low spends day today as we only need a paper. No booking holidays 🤣
Exercise will be ClubFit shortly plus taking the dog on the park and lots of gardening.Veggie burger night tonight and I have rose cava chilling in the fridge already.
And it’s that time of the year again - Strictly starts again tonight happy days 💃🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Always nice to have holidays to look forward too Sun_Addict. I've only been to Ibiza once with children and inlaws but loved it. We stayed in San Miguel near the caves. I love Tenerife but need to try the other islands. Our garden needs an overhaul and tip run but currently pouring with rain, so will wait for it too ease up.3
