Interesting to read about your saving pots.  I've just added a pot for eyes and teeth to cover glasses and OH's threatened root canal treatment.  There's only £100 in it so far so he currently can't afford anaesthetic 🙀

Well in true gets extra money something crops up style my Ninja oven has decided to die 😢 It keeps tripping the electric. I’ve changed the fuse and tried a different socket but no joy. I’ve had it for over 2 years so no longer in warranty. Last night had to use the oven for Mr SA’s pizza for the first time in 3 years. I was shocked it still worked 😆 Forgot how slow it is!

Anyway the dilemma is do I replace it as I only use it for pizzas and tray bakes? Have seen a cheaper model on Am@zon which has great reviews but I’ve never heard of the brand 🤔 Although I love the Ninja air fryers I’m not sure about replacing the oven as it’s a devil to clean.

In other potentially expensive news the dog has developed a lump on her head 😞 It’s not bothering her, she doesn’t complain when I touch it and is her normal self otherwise.

Oh dear, I hope the dog soon feels better.

I tend to trust reviews, particularly if they agree with each other! Sometimes a comment is off the main trend and I'll be a bit concerned but realise that perhaps the person didn't buy the right article for their needs. If a few people mention something, I will look further afield. Perhaps have a look to see what else that brand has made and how good those reviews are.

    Happy Saturday 🥂

After much deliberation I’ve ordered the air fryer oven I was looking at. Have read lots of good reviews and watched some YT reviews. It had £25 off on Am@zon too which makes it over £100 cheaper than the Ninj@ one. To be honest it won’t get used as much as my other air fryers but will be used for pizza and tray bakes. I was dreaming about air fryers last night 😆

The dog isn’t poorly she just has a small lump on top of her head. It’s not bothering her at all. It feels like a cyst. I’m going to keep an eye on it and take her to the vet if it gets bigger. I think she’s due her annual check any time now.

No plans for today other than ClubFit in a bit then the park with the dog and the local shops for a paper. I just want to relax today I feel shattered. Hopefully will get some time in the garden reading. Have just finished reading Our Life in a Day by Jamie Fewery so have a new book to start. I need to be firm with Mr SA as he wants to go somewhere and I definitely don’t.

Curry night tonight. I’m making an aubergine curry as I need to use one up. I’ve got a few portions of curry in the freezer but trying to use up fresh stuff first.

That sounds a great buy. I hope it’s very good and lasts a long time.

I’m surprised that your ninja oven didn’t last longer, especially as you don’t use it as often as your other ninjas. Hopefully the new one will be great.

I’ve just got a new air fryer as mine wasn’t getting as hot any more and was only 11 months old so got refund while I could 😂 I like the ones where you can put 3 shelf’s in but also have a 6ltr basket type too

happy new air fryer! And I'm glad the dog is okay.

We are going to try the veggie marsala today: following your lead of substituting with abandon as we have a tikka curry mix rather than garam marsala, and brown rice instead of cauliflower, so the calories are going to go up.
