This is what happens when I leave Mr SA in charge of himself - he took the dog on the park this morning and took the remote instead of his phone 🤣
Then just now I went to get his evening antibiotic to find there was only one left instead of three. Turns out he took two earlier thinking they were paracetamol 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Talk about a small world the woman who runs the action group I went to tonight works at the same place as me. Anyway I’ve volunteered to help on a stall at the Christmas market, I don’t mind doing that sort of thing. It was quite a productive meeting so I’m glad I went.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning all. WFH today and my last working day of the week as off tomorrow.
Hoping for a NSD but Mr SA was muttering about some canvas shoes he'd seen in the window of the charity shop so he's got a bee in his bonnet. Obviously it would be good if they fit him as it would save a trip into town tomorrow. He really needs to try them on though as last year he bought some t-shirts from there that were way too small for him. I've tried to put him off by saying it's still a while before we go on holiday but he wants to "scuff them up a bit" first - he has a thing about wearing obviously new shoes on holiday 🙄
I need to round up some money to send to the Cov RS, aiming for around £100. I'm not having loads of regular savers again after these three have matured, I think I got a bit greedy with the high interest rates. The Cov is the lowest rate of the three so makes sense to send the maximum amounts to the other accounts first.
Today's exercise will be dog walking, a live abs/arms session at lunchtime and live Zumba at 7pm. Making a batch of veg chilli for tonight's dinner and the rest will go in the freezer for future reference.
There are quite a few jobs coming up on promotion at the moment so I need to have a look at them. I'm happy in my current role and have a lot of freedom so have to take this into account. The next grade up is about £6k a year more and will boost my pension plus I already do a lot of things expected of the higher grade so I have to weigh up the odds.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Veg chilli sounds good.
I like how you list todays exercise. ..(I will copy that)
I hope Mr SA's shoes work out

I’m the same with promotion. I do a lot of the work, but is it worth it to lose flexi and have a bit more restriction on where I should be while I’m working. It’s a hard question. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
