  • Good morning. That’s bad customer service, you’d think it would automatically be a like for like replacement according to what they receive 😖

FitBit excel in poor customer service in my experience. I gave up on them at the stage when they wanted to replace my Charge 3 with yet another one, which I was already pretty certain was going to have precisely the same faults as the two previous ones, allowing for the number of people on their user forums complaining about exactly the same issues! having had my Garmin for a while now I can happily say I wouldn't touch another 5h1tbit with a barge pole borrowed from the owner of the worlds longest barge poles.... A lot of people seem to suggest that when FB's customer service team continually offering replacements, it's purely to get users to the point where they can tell them they are out of warranty and so will do nothing more. I hope you have a better experience SA!

I love my fitbit, Had various ones throughout the years - Zip, One, Charge 4, Charge 5, Ionic, Surge, Sense. Yes I have had issues throughout the years (surge & ionic being the main ones) but I've always had decent customer service. Not a fan of the Garmin look and I never got on with their app. Eventually I may move onto the Whoop.

I had to have my fit bit replaced after a year as it just dimmed to the point I couldn't read it properly. Luckily I bought it from JL so just returned it to them and got a new one. Which was fine until I got it caught in my waistband when I was tucking a shirt in. Snapped the bit that enables the strap to be fitted to the clock bit. Gave up then. Got a lovely new watch for Xmas, and tbh not even missing the step count.

They have some fabulous wellies @beanielou. I might cave in yet 😆

In money dealings, DD paid her board today so that has gone straight to the holiday pot. Also sent an oddment of £2 to the Christmas 2023 pot. Forgot about the 1p challenge pot but will sort that out tomorrow.
