Just another manic Monday...
What a day and it's not finished yet. I was in the office this morning and planned to stay a full day but my calendar starting filling up with meetings in the afternoon so left at 11 to WFH otherwise I'd be there until goodness knows what time! Absolutely manically busy today!
Good news in that my replacement FitBit has arrived - woo hoo I'm back in business.
Today's exercise was walking to/from work plus I've booked onto a live FitOn 20/20 HIIT session at 5pm, providing I can finish work by then!
I've had a quick once over of my budget spreadsheet and have transferred an oddment to the Christmas pot, 4 oddments to catch up with the 1p saving challenge and have moved my survey earnings to one side.
Popped into Lid! on the way home from work for a few bits and to use my free bakery item coupon. I've now spent enough for £2 off the next shop.
I'm making spiced butternut squash stew with herb dumplings for tonight's dinner, another old favourite.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I see you use Lid! quite a bit @Sun_Addict Not used them for a few years. Do they do some sot of reward scheme now then? I see you mentioned money off etc. . Wonder if its worth giving them a goMaking the debt go down and savings go up

What a busy day you are having. No idea how you fit it all in.
thank you for the tip on cards - shame you aren't on commission as you've rustled up lots of customers for them.
@Makingabobor2 - lidls now have Lidl plus app - a mix of money off and freebies. Every little helps .... even though that's the wrong supermarket's slogan

@Makingabobor2 I pass Lid! On the way home from work so it’s handy for me. The app offers used to be better but anything is better than nothing. Every time you shop you get an online scratch card and can win money off goods although they’re rarely anything I’d buy. I prefer A!di but although that’s closer to where I live I have to make an effort to go there as it’s out of the way. I wish both of them would get better stocks of food instead of having those middle aisles full of assorted tat.Didn’t get time to do the workout it was 45 minutes long and once I’d logged off I’d had enough. Not my best idea making something from scratch for dinner when I’ve been in the office physically. The new people I’m assisting are driving me nuts already. They are super busy and copying me in to everything they do. My inbox is on fire! I feel quite overwhelmed with it all today as I still have to do my normal day job to do on top of this. I don’t know how I’m going to fit it all in. I wouldn’t mind if I was getting paid extra but I’m not. Deep breath 🧘♀️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today. It looks really cold and frosty out there so nice to be snug at home.
The council are collecting the old pond pump today, they do a free bulky waste collection every January so have taken advantage of the offer. They're collecting a few other things next week.
Exercise today will be a short dog walk before my morning meeting, a lunchtime live bums & tums session and a live resistance bands session tonight. I need to set up the new FitBit today.
I've got a Mr M delivery coming at lunchtime, thought I'd try a different timeslot from the 6am one although beginning to wish I'd kept it at the earlier time as a meeting has appeared in my calendar for this afternoon. Mr SA will have to do door duties I'm afraid.
I need to sort out today's 1p challenge payment. Also clean the kitchen after work. Plus about a million other things 😣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
It's really icy, isn't it, in our neck of the woods this morning, @Sun_Addict. Mr F has a later start this morning, so is only just getting himself geared up to go outside & scrape the car. It's absolutely encased in ice..It's also a bit foggy here because our village is situated so close to the river.
Wfh sounds like the best option.
F2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 5.9kg/30kg
