I will join. Its not that I don't really like Christmas, just that I find it far too commercialised, and like SA, we don't go anywhere or have visitors these days. If we spent the day with DGKs, I would love it. But that hasn't happened in 7 years. I actually love Christmas films & music, and eating rubbish...lol.

Eating and drinking and being glad, and indulging in brain and body down-time, and a teeny bit of hope in joy and magic in the world is Christmas ❤️

I am the same, I like the run up, but find the day never meets expectations. I do love a Christmas dinner though. I don't like turkey. And would much prefer chicken.

Afternoon all.
WFH today so a lovely relaxing start to my day.
The 21 day yoga challenge starts today and I’ve already ticked today’s session off. Very easy as it was only a 7 minute stretch.
Very disappointed that the Thursday lunchtime live strength training sessions are cancelled for the time being ☹️ They said the coach has personal issues so needs to take a break. I can still do a strength workout from UTube or FitOn but not the same as live.
Took the dog on the park this morning and it’s live Zumba tonight.
I’m a bit disappointed with my 😗 🐟 order as it’s been delivered straight to a PO depot rather than to my house like normal. Goodness knows why, RM haven’t attempted to deliver it here so not a missed attempt. The depot is about 40 minutes walk away and only open 2 hours a day. Fortunately it’s open on Saturday so I can pick it up when I go to the big Mr T. I can’t even ask for it to be redelivered as it’s saying I can’t. Very odd.Another regular saver has matured and I’ve used this to buy PBs. Not that I ever win anything apart from £50 in May last year and £100 back in April this year.
Finally managed to get Mr SA an appointment at his dentist regarding his crown. I’d been trying to ring for 3 days and kept getting a message saying the lines were busy. I emailed them eventually and they called me back. Unfortunately the tooth supporting the crown has now broken. I’m not happy about this as it cost a lot of money earlier this year. I would’ve expected to last longer than 6 months 😞
Talking of Mr SA he’s driving me mad pestering for a new watch. He keeps showing me photos of cheap and nasty watches on his phone. I had to tell him to 🤬off in the end because he was stressing me out and I was trying to work. That man could be used as a method of torture!
The Lid! app has produced some useful money off coupons on things I usually buy so will pick those up next week. The Mr T app has also produced some 20% off vouchers but I’ll probably only redeem a couple.
So far I have £60 in B00ts vouchers, £60 in Mr T and £75 in Mr M. They will come in useful for Christmas bits and bobs.
As well as the dishwasher purchase I never get around to, I also need a new laptop. I’m happy to buy a refurbished laptop as I want a decent one. My work one is a HP Elitebook so something similar would be great. I’ve got the money saved but just loathe to spend it 😆Tonight’s dinner is veggie chilli. I’m making a big batch for future reference.
I don’t plan to spend anything today so it will be NSD1 of November.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
I did smile at MrSA's persistent pestering being used as a form of torture. I wouldn't be smiling after 5 minutes of it though.

I would be contacting 😙 to see what on earth is going on.

That's weird about your WF order. Mine was delivered fine today.

Took me ages to work out where the order was from by your emojis.. lol. When @jwil said WF, I suddenly realised. Hope you manage to collect it ok.
