That sign is hilariously passive aggressive 😂
Is it really mean of me to hope you nabbed it so you can do the same to Mr SA next time he expects you to clean up his mess 🤭

Ugh, yes, it’s hard to work out. Like you said, you don’t want to owe them 🥴. Glad you’ve got Christmas week off though!

Afternoon all, halfway through the week already.
Went into the office later after yoga this morning, WFH this afternoon. I don't think I'll try going into the office on a Wednesday again if I can help it as the traffic was horrendous and the office was really busy so I struggled to find a desk. If I have to again I'll just have to give yoga a miss and go in at the normal time.
Nipped into Primani for a couple of new throws and Mr SA wanted some more joggers and a sweatshirt.
Mr SA met me outside Lid! and I managed to get the things that were out of stock on Monday. I did notice a complete shelf of tinned food was empty although there were plenty of other tinned items on the shelves below.
All this encouragement to stock up makes me wonder if Jamie Oliver is already planning a new TV series on no cook recipes or what to cook on a camping stove 😆
Had a Mr M delivery first thing so we're all stocked up for the week and beyond.
It's the final week of the 4 week budget period and there won't be much of an underspend on the groceries front as I've bought quite a few stock up items. Technically I could've taken some of this spending from the stock up pot but if I can manage without doing this I will. For the other spending pots there should be a decent underspend if I keep further spends to a minimum.
Today's exercise has been yoga, walking home from work and it's Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is veggie sausages with creamed cabbage and leek with steamed veg.
Edited to add I bought a ticket for a lunchtime Christmas concert at the concert hall for just £3 last night. It's on a Monday so will go on my way home from work. I'm going on my own, there's no need to involve Mr SA, it's not his sort of thing and the seats are pot luck so probably not suitable for him anyway.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6 -

I love the run up to Christmas but find the actual day a bit flat. We don’t have a traditional Christmas dinner, no one likes it. We don’t have visitors and we don’t get invited anywhere so it’s a bit different for us. However I take the opportunity to have a more or less housework free day, put my feet up with Christmas music or a film, read my book and have a glass or two of wine.
