You deserve the dress at full price.
I am glad you have wooden floors. It is a small mercy. I hope the phase finishes very soon.
And I loathe disinterested GPs. I just want someone to listen.Nevertheless she persisted.6 -
That’s Wednesday done. Absolutely shattered today. Have been in the office and stayed all day because of various meetings plus an event I’d organised that took place over lunchtime so didn’t actually get a break.I almost skipped Zumba tonight but anyway I did it and enjoyed it. So am on 25,000 steps. The steam scrubber arrived today but too tired to open it. A job for tomorrow.Mr SA is being quite good with drinking more water and less beer, whether this will last who knows. He does know his bloods are being checked again in 4 weeks so that might spur him on.Not a NSD as had to go to L*dl on the way home from work for the things I thought I’d put on yesterday’s Mr M order but apparently didn’t 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Happy Thursday 😎
WFH today thank goodness. Unfortunately my peaceful morning pre logging on was disturbed by Mr SA getting up far too early.
I've had a quick finances check and have paid off the balance on my cc. £5 lotto winnings have been sent to the Christmas pot and £1.72 has been sent to the 1p savings pot. I'll need to be careful with the grocery budget for the next couple of weeks as I spent a fair bit last week re-stocking up post holiday.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning and a stretch and tone session at lunchtime. Aiming for 15,000 steps today but would be equally happy with 10,000.
I need to decide what I'm making for my dinner tonight, currently torn between making a fish pie with cauliflower mash or just using something up out of the freezer.
The steam scrubber has been unpacked and set up so will be playing with that later once the floors have had a good sweep/vacuum.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
In money news I’ve combined the 1p saver and Christmas pots and sent £400 to the Cov R/S, might as well get the interest as they’re not earning anything where they are now. Have made a note on my spreadsheet so I don’t mix myself up which could very easily happen 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Tested the steam scrubber cleaner after work and the verdict is it’s brilliant. The floors haven’t looked so clean in ages. It’s so effortless, hovers over the floors like a hover mower but cleans really deep down. Previously I had to scrub the floors to get this result which was hard work and time consuming. Took less than 30 minutes to do the whole house and no effort required.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Steam scrubber sounds like just the ticket SA - I do like my steam mop but it would be much better if it scrubbed as well.
I got one of those scrubbing bathroom cleaners on a long handle off Mz A and it’s pretty good - stops me having to get on hands and knees to clean the shower tray.Lancashire

Steam scrubber sounds wonderful. Do you have to ventilate the house while you use it?
Combining pots and getting some interest is a great idea. I decided to put holiday savings into an account with interest instead of on my travel money card for the same reason (which makes me wonder if I should take the balance off the travel card and add it to the savings account too).I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. No I didn’t have to ventilate the rooms @Cherryfudge Very little steam comes out of it unless you press the boost button.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
