Happy Sunday 😎
Stayed up until past midnight so later up this morning. It should be NSD 4 as not going anywhere other than the park across the road today.Plans for today are dog walking, meal planning, Spanish, surveys, cleaning, washing, ironing and gardening. I need to create an exercise plan as I want to make sure some yoga/Pilates is included as I struggle to fit these in and I really need to do some stretching. Not looking forward to doing a full week at work 😭
I’m going to make fish pie with cauliflower mash for tonight’s dinner. I’ll make 2 portions so that’s tomorrow night sorted. I also have leftover Prosecco 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I'm not looking forward to the week ahead either SA! I was inspired by you today when caring responsibilities got a bit much and went to the gym at 7am to burn some frustration off. Can I ask what the live/recorded classes are that you do from home?4

Thank you! I go to classes at the gym as my sanity time away from my folks house, but think I need a physical release even more on the days I can't leave the house.4

Had a really productive day, got lots of gardening done and finally got Mr SA to clean the pond pump filter after nagging him for weeks. That said it was me who did most of the hard work as he can’t bend. The weather has been lovely and I got loads of washing dried. Also got out all the chair cushions and spent some time reading my book in my hanging chair. Mr SA has got a burnt head and face, he’s been told not to sit out without sun cream on after the pre cancerous growth was removed from his head last year 😞The strawberry plant that wasn’t doing so well has produced 2 strawberries 😆 Will have tons of raspberries though as the bush has tripled in size since last year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

That's Monday almost done. Worked in the office until lunchtime, finishing up at home.
Sorted out two financial frogs on the way home by popping into my bank's branch to (a) stop them from cancelling Mr SA's debit card because he rarely uses it and (b) close the regular saver account they automatically gave me when the old one finished; didn't use it because of the rubbish interest rate.
Had a quick check over of finances and paid off cc outstanding balance. I need to be really careful with the grocery budget for the next two weeks. Sent 4 days worth of payments totalling £4.89 to the 1p saver.
The monthly statement from Octopus shows the credit is starting to build back up again so that's good.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work 17,000 steps, aiming for 20,000 by the end of the day. Have also planned in a short yoga session later.
Tonight's dinner is veggie sausage traybake.
In shock news Mr SA noticed I'd put a load of washing in before I left for work and put it on the washing line! The haphazard way he's pegged it out is quite comical but I'm not complaining, he's actually done something to help out for once. He did say he hadn't colour co-ordinate the pegs like I do 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Sausage tray bake sounds tasty.
Well done to Mr SA for pegging the washing. My DH is rubbish at it, I get all OCD about it.....lol. I like it all pegged in a certain way, trousers one end of the line and tops the other end and undies on the little line...lol. I also have some different pegs and use certain ones for certain things....so I end up going round and changing the pegs over and he goes mad. I said he's had over 25 years to learn how to do it though....lolMaking the debt go down and savings go up

That puts your DH one massive step ahead of my DS. This morning when we were expecting a visitor I had to indicate a particular spot that I wanted vacuuming. As in oh I didn't realise you wanted me to vacuum that bit of the carpet.
