Sounds exciting at work. A trip to B&M sounds more interesting than lining up in the playground as we used to do in an evacuation. No fun with children that could be in pe gear and no shoes and some with sensory issues too…. Pleased it wasn’t anything too dangerous and you could go back into the building.

I hope you compensated for the stress by treating yourself to something from B&M! As evidence you had taken seriously the command to disperse, of course...

A trip to b&m you say? I’m imagining 50% of the workforce wanting to break that glass for a free shopping trip 🤭 i second cherry, I hope you got something nice!

I only spent £14 in B&M and most of that was on a pair of lawn shears 😆 I did get some bargain cheese reduced from £3 to £1 because it was going out of date today. I got 2 pieces, grated them and now in the freezer.

When we do the evacuations most people just go to the local coffee shops which then get too busy. There are potentially over 3000 of us all starbursting together depending on how many are in the office. It was a drill in the end not a real incident.

I’ve done 32,000 steps today what with walking to/from work, the unexpected trip to B&M, a lunchtime walk with a work walking group and Zumba when I got home. My legs are aching a fair bit. I’ll sleep well tonight that’s for sure. 3 times I was up and down those blooming 12 flights of stairs! Thank goodness I’m WFH tomorrow.

Forgot to say Mr SA got the washing out of the machine and hung it out again for me. Pity I hadn’t washed it yet 😆
