I agree with @Buffythedebtslayer.
It was accidents that I found the hardest as a carer.
You are doing so well to keep doing the other things that give you pleasure too.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I really can’t get motivated this morning. Mr SA is sat with the dog on his knee waiting for the rain to ease so we can take her out.I’ve been invited to attend a local community group meeting this afternoon. I haven’t told Mr SA yet. It’s in a local cafe and he’ll only come down to stare in the window if he knows where I am. He does this when I go to the hairdressers and it’s really annoying. I feel so trapped sometimes like I can’t get away from him unless it’s to go to work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I find rain a demotivator in itself, but at least you have the seeds planted and the garden is getting watered. Sometimes you just need a down day: is there a book you want to read?
I hope you can get your time away from Mr SA.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Can't you just say you are going out to meet friends and not tell him where? I would get frustrated too and feel trapped and claustrophobic. We took the dog for a run on the park, it was drizzling but not too bad. I’m just about to make carrot, coriander and butter bean soup for work lunches.I didn’t do very well with surveys last week and was unable to cash out my target £10 🙁 Hopefully this week will be better.Mr SA has gone back to bed and DD is at work so it’s lovely and peaceful at the moment - apart from the radio that is 😆I’ll have to re-watch last night’s concert as I fell asleep half way through. No point me even attempting to watch anything that goes on beyond 9pm.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

In the end I just said I was going to the local shops. I shouldn’t have to justify my every move to him. I met with the group in the cafe and had a coffee. The cafe was packed and it was boiling hot in there. It was nice to get a break and chat to some different people.I’ve had a few surveys come through so on course to hit my target this week. I’ve booked in to have my nails done on Saturday so am going to treat myself out of survey earnings.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Sending love @Sun_Addict. Can you get any regular help with OH? I know he objects but where will you both be if you collapse under the strain? It wouldn't be optional then. 10 years of this is a hell of a stretch. Please forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn Humdinger xx4
