    Happy Saturday 🥂

Just done a live ClubFit class now having a coffee before going to Mr T.

I’ve been a bit spendy this morning and bought a Shark steam scrubber from QVC. My old steam mop has broken,  although it wasn’t exactly great and I’ve been thinking about getting a new one for some time. This one scrubs and steams so will be brilliant for all my hard floors.

DS and the GKs are coming today. I have a few gifts from the holiday for them. DS always likes a couple of local cans of beer.

Curry night tonight and very unusually for me I have a ready made one from a Mr M meal deal. It’s actually the side order so isn’t very big but I’ll bulk it out with rice. I doubt it‘ll be as nice as homemade but will give it a go. Mr SA loves their lamb rogan josh.

I need to sort out a quote for home insurance as the current insurers have increased their price by £30 which is a big increase when it’s only £80, almost 50%. Also need to plant seeds before it’s too late.

Home insurance is on my list for today too as they have increased the annual amount by £100.  Too much of an increase for my liking

As if I don’t have enough to do, I was in Mr T when Mr SA rang to say the older cat had weed in the hall and the kitchen so I had that to clear up when I got home. Then I had just sat down to grab a quick lunch before the GKs arrive when Mr SA dropped his entire glass of cola on the living room floor. I had to abandon my lunch to clear up. He’s always dropping drinks, he has very little grip in his hands. I’m getting him a beaker with handles as it’s getting a regular occurrence.

I got these for mum as normal cups and glasses are too heavy. They are a bit kids picnic but they are easy for her to hold etc. The big river shop has others that might be more your taste ;)
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Wow that is a big increase in your insurance. We are with the "Naval Officer", that begins with Adm...!  Been with them for about 5 years now and they always price match if I find cheaper elsewhere or this year I didn't even bother checking elsewhere as their renewal price was only 20p a month dearer.

Definitely sounds like Mr SA needs some good cups with handles on, or you'll be using your new steamer all the time...lol

You can see why I need the steam scrubbing machine can’t you. I’ve toyed with the idea of a robot vacuum that also mops but it would be worn out after a week 😆

    Thanks for the link @Buffythedebtslayer

I'm with Mr S_A today. I tipped three quarters of my breakfast coffee all over me when I knocked the mug over. At least it went on me and not the carpet. I hope you have a peaceful evening.

This is why I don’t have carpets apart from the stairs and landing. Everywhere else is hard floors even the bedroom.

I can’t complain about the Mr M side order curry it was quite nice- Aloo Gobi Saag and very low calorie at 134 for the pack. Would definitely have again.
