Hello 🙂 I had an email this morning telling me the app was updating and they were replacing the coffees for a weekly scratch card. This was the first I’d heard of it until then. I got a Lid! bakery item instead.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
Dh managed to get 2 Ner0 coffees today from 🐙 1 on the scratch card and one as a loyal customer…..Ds got a coffee and a doughnut. The free coffees must be costing them a fortune as I think we’ve only missed 1 coffee in best part of 2 years.
Hope Mr SA enjoys his bum bag 😃

This does mean that we’re waving goodbye to daily coffee code drops as they move to their new home in the Monday Scratchcard. At the same time, we're substantially increasing the overall number of prizes available.
No more setting alarms to grab a code first thing in the morning. You've got all day Monday to scratch each week, and everyone gets the same chance to win. With thousands more goodies up for grabs overall, many more customers get a fair share of our Octoplus freebies.
If your Scratchcard comes up empty, you'll unlock access to our secret monthly prize draw which gives you another chance to win something extra special.
For this week only, you and other Octoplus pros get your usual daily coffee offer AND exclusive early access to your Scratchcard: double the opportunity to bag a bargain! From Monday 20th July, the daily drops will stop and move into the Monday Scratchcard.

So it looks like I can still get a free coffee this week then it’s pot luck with the scratch card from next Monday.

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until late morning WFH this afternoon.
The free coffees were in the 🐙app this morning but all the Ner0 codes had gone by 5.30am. Will try again tomorrow although I quite like Gr£ggs coffee as an alternative.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and was lucky enough to catch some great £2 fruit/veg boxes being put out so grabbed one. The contents filled a large carrier bag. Phoned Mr SA to meet me on his scooter but he wasn't answering his phone. I managed to walk home despite the bag being so heavy. The box had a punnet of grapes, 6 apples, 4 peaches, 8 bananas, 2 pak choi, lettuce, 8 mini peppers, 3 leeks a huge courgette and 8 potatoes. All items are in great condition and well worth £2.
In voucher news Mr T have sent me a £20 off £80 online shop that I have until 5 August to use. Tempted by that one. Looks like I can use it on alcohol too. I've built up £30 of Mr M vouchers so far but saving them for Christmas.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, a lunchtime live Power Punch session and live resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is harissa prawn orzo.

Morning all, happy hump day.
WFH today, had a nice relaxing start to the day before the Mr M delivery arrived at 6.30.
Mid-week finance check done and cc balance cleared.
I've put in a Mr T delivery for next week using the £20 off £80 spend voucher. I must say their grocery app isn't a patch on Mr M's for ease of use.
All the codes for the free Ner0 coffee had gone at 5.30am again so have opted for a Gr£ggs one. I'll pick it up on Friday on the way to work. If it's the older woman serving she always moans about my Therm0s mug not fitting under the machine but the younger one doesn't bat an eyelid.
Washing has been pegged out, it's a bit misty and cool at the minute but due to be sunny and 26 degrees shortly. Other housework tasks are sort out the pet food cupboard, clean the fridge and vacuum/mop the whole house.
The Mr M where DD works had a car crash into the front of the store yesterday. DD was already home at the time. I don't think anyone was hurt. There seems to be a lot of cars crashing into buildings in our neck of the woods just lately.
Today's exercise is yoga (done), dog walking (about to do) and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is leftover split pea and sweet potato curry so an easy meal.

I did wonder if that was your daughter's branch when I saw the story. Very lucky nobody was hurt. Whatever speed must the driver have been doing? Over the limit? Coked up? It must have been a shock for staff working that shift.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0 -
The store is back open again although minus a few checkouts apparently. So the car must've gone right into the store. DD has been off today so hasn't seen it herself.
