You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x

You don’t half have your hands full @Sun_Addict!

Your weekend meals always sound wonderful though and reading/prosecco alongside make for a lovely little pick-me-up too.

Here’s hoping for a smooth sailing week ahead.

  • Your DHs antics made me laugh 😂

Have you ever watched ‘Shr!nking’? There’s a character on there that likes to pee in the garden and do other random things.

Wonder why your DS wouldn’t just come over on his own with the kids? DIL might have appreciated the house to herself to recover.
If DH is ill, he’s an awful patient so I’d happily leave him to it 😂

    Afternoon all

No I haven't watched Shrinking. I looked it up and it's only on Apple TV which I don't have. That character sounds like Mr SA 🤣

For some reason DS isn't comfortable with driving long distances which is why he doesn't visit without DIL.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

    Afternoon all.

Worked in the office this morning and WFH this afternoon.

Monday finance check done, nothing to pay off the cc as everything is pending.

New 4 week budget period starts today so the last budget period has been closed off. The groceries pot had an underspend of £16.66 so £6.66 went to the Christmas pot and £10 to the stock up pot. Across all other spending pots there was a combined underspend of £148.72 so £8.72 was sent to the Christmas pot and the rest went back into the relevant master spending pots.

The 🐙 revealed a free Gr£ggs coffee this week.

Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and redeemed the £19.66 off coupon on a good stock up shop.

Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and a live strength training session tonight.

Tonight's dinner is stir fry and noodles to use up some odds and ends of veg in the fridge.

I need to do something with the bananas that were in last week's Lid! fruit/veg box as they're getting a bit too ripe. Might make another couple of banana loaves.

Ugh and agh to Mr SA. Is there a job that it won't matter if he messes up you could give him that's 'really important' so he has a project to feel important about?

Your underspends are always so good! Well done, everything definitely merits a prosecco 🥂
