I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there. She’d probably like to have her own place but would struggle to afford it. I think she also likes the security of being at home given her many medical issues. I really didn’t think she’d still be living with us at almost 40.

I don’t know to be honest as this is a frequent occurrence where DD gets a bee in her bonnet about something then it all blows over. She and Mr SA are very similar and have always clashed.

Well that’s my working week done 🥳

Worked in the office and finished after I’d done 6 hours.

Got up at 4.30am this morning so I could get to work early in order to finish as early as possible. Talk about everything going against me! Had to clear up yet more cat sick followed by removing a small dead rat from the lawn 😐

Stopped off at Gr£ggs for the free 🐙 coffee on my walk to work only to see a sign on the door saying closed due to technical issues, this applies to all our stores. Got into the city centre with my empty Therm0s mug and decided to redeem my final Ner0 full stamp card for a free coffee. Moments later passed a Gr£ggs and it was open 😞

So having got up at 4.30 I didn’t get to work until 7.30.

Anyway the upshot is I will claim the free Gr£ggs coffee tomorrow locally as I’d promised Mr SA a bacon roll and coffee for his breakfast.

Stopped off at Lid! on the way home from work and picked up a few ingredients from the meal plan list. Good to see they had quinoa and giant couscous at very reasonable prices. Glad I used the self checkout as noticed the cherries that had been reduced to 69p a punnet were going through at full price 😐 Waved a store assistant over and he rectified it. I did think if I’d been at the manned checkout I probably wouldn’t have noticed this error. This is why I personally prefer self checkouts so I can check the prices as they scan. I wonder how many people bought them and were overcharged without realising.

Got home, dropped my bags off and went to get my nails done. Have had them painted bright green so they’ll match the dress I’m wearing for the retirement do tomorrow.

Nipped into the charity shop nearby and was very happy to find a bright yellow lace/crochet top for £2 that will look good with my crinkly brown trousers - with a vest top underneath though as it’s see through 😆

Tonight’s dinner was white bean and mushroom orzo from the meal plan which was lovely. The tofu traybake I made yesterday was absolutely delicious and I’d definitely make it again.

Today’s exercise has been walking to/from work and Zumba at 5.15. 26,585 steps in total.

It was the park volunteers meeting tonight but I was still eating my dinner at the start time so there was no way I’d make it.

DD vs Mr SA and the slow cooker saga continues and it’s back in the kitchen but with a plate on top of the lid. Honestly it’s too ridiculous to bother with 🙄 I’m not getting involved with this trivia life’s too short.

Mr SA has been using the hand held jet washer to water the greenhouse plants and they look as though they’ve been subjected to a hurricane. I’m cross with him about this as I thought he was watering them with a watering can.

In gardening news I’ve picked some carrots the first I’ve ever grown 🙂

Refereeing must be very frustrating. I’d be saying I was working late and taking a comfy chair into the office with chocs, Prosecco and good book with the door locked.
