Can I ask, how long can you go on doing everything yourself? What about your health and well -being?

You are amazing and I think it’s very inspirational the way that you always fit in your exercise time, socialising, etc, around everything else you have to do.So important to do so.

I get asked all sorts of things too and I hate to say but it gets worse when you get older! I’m expected to remember every film star there ever was, who starred in what, and when…..lots of my older friends struggle with their hearing, so I’m also the interpreter! If I go to a talk I have someone in each ear asking, What did he say?!If I’m daydreaming and say, sorry, I missed that I was miles away, I get such a disgusted look!

Sending a virtual hugs or two (if wanted. If you're not a huggy person, I can offer to put the kettle on instead), because it inevitably takes it out of you when you get deprived of sleep, especially on top of Mr SA's falls. I wonder whether the hot weather affects him too?

Do you find it helps to write all the appointments out in chronological order and cross them off as done? For some people the fact of putting them down on paper (or a spreadsheet) means the brain isn't holding on trying to remember what's still to do, so it's a bit of a de-stressor. I imagine it's something you do anyway, as you are an organised person, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. It's a lot to feel responsible for, and seeing it all looming up as a whole month's worth makes that worse. Could you park anything that doesn't have to be sorted this week, or even today? Sufficient to the day is the evil thereof, if you see what I mean. Things that loom on the horizon can't be dealt with yet.

I absolutely love declining meetings and saying sorry I'm on holiday, sometimes I leave it to the last minute to decline so they don't rearrange it for when I get back 🤣

I love the tactical thinking! Undoubtedly time off leads to things piling up immediately after you return - so you could also book an extra couple of days of leave at the end of your holiday then withdraw them at the last minute so you get a calmer re-entry. 😊

I'm looking forward to your Ibiza holiday vicariously. I've only been there once and it was beautiful. I bet it's hot there at the moment!

Would Mr SA refuse carers? A close neighbour has what seems like an army of carers, 2 at a time, 3 times a day. It means her husband can go out for a short while which helps him recalibrate. I'd imagine Mr SA would be stroppy about it at first? But his falls/accidents/phone-calls are noticeably more frequent lately. Said with love x

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
