Oh my, not another bag. My DH likes to buy tops and shorts…none of which he needs. He bought 2 shirts and a pair of shorts in CS the other day, and I told him we now have a 1 in 1 out policy unless its something we desperately need. So I went through his wardrobe and got out a pile of ones he doesn't wear and told him to select some to get rid of. They are now in a pile waiting for me to put on V!nt*d

Your garden is lovely!
Sorry Mr SA is up to mischief.

Your garden lounging space looks lovely! And it’s been hot enough to feel like you’re in Ibiza 🥵

Hoping your dgd is happier now she’s being home educated. Hats off to your dil and ds for doing this for her.
I wish I enjoyed the heat but I really don’t. I like a nice summer day but this is too much for me. Think I need a cool mat like your little dog 😂

Forgot to mention he’d also bought a can of beer despite having plenty of stocks in the house, albeit hidden. I was disappointed with him as he’s been doing really well cutting down the past few weeks. Although he has a monthly personal spends pot I also give him £10 cash just so he’s got some cash on him. I have the same. It burns a hole in his pocket hence the ‘spending spree’ today. Thankfully we only have a handful of shops on our high street, none that interesting. I shudder to think what he’d be like if we had a better selection.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪4 -

Morning all, happy Friday.
I'm in the office today but will be finishing just after lunchtime. It's really quiet and I'm sitting all on my own.
DD has paid her board so that's been sent to the holiday pot. Still hoping to get away for a few days at the beginning of September. I realise DD won't be able to take the time off work to look after the dog but I need to check she's not planning anything herself before I book it.
Picked up my free 🐙coffee this morning and will enjoy this later on.
I need to pick up a few things from Lid! on the way home so it won't be a NSD.
Looking forward to getting back home and sitting in my hanging chair for an hour.

So we’re going to Ibiza for 3 nights on 1 September 🥳 DD is off work that week so it ties in well. I’ve booked a different hotel to the one we usually go to as it’s one I’ve wanted to go to before but is always fully booked it’s so popular. It has brilliant reviews and is 150m from the beach and the sunset strip but in a quiet area. Mr SA is stressing about it being somewhere different but it sounds better for us in my opinion. I’ve gone for half board as the food in the hotel is apparently ‘outstanding’ according to reviews and was only £29 each extra. This will also take the pressure off finding somewhere that does fish and chips for Mr SA when Ibiza isn’t really a fish and chips type of place. I’ve put my foot down and refused to hire a scooter for Mr SA, we’ll take his wheelchair. We’re only going for 3 nights and I want to relax and not walk miles looking for man bags in the shops, because that’s what would happen. He’s bombarding me with questions - has it got English TV channels (yes!!), has the room got a sea view (we won’t know until we get there you can’t book one). Honestly should just take him to Skeggy really 🙄Flight times are good 07.55 on the Tuesday out and 13.30 back on Friday from local airport 35 minutes from our house. Had to pay in full as less than 10 weeks until we go but got £200 off plus an extra £120. We won’t need much spending money just money for drinks and lunch. Seat bookings free as assisted travel.
I’m desperate for a holiday where we get up in the morning, have breakfast, a stroll along the sea front, maybe a coffee, then flop on a sunbed until it’s a reasonable time for a cold glass of rose. No walking miles looking in shops.I can’t wait 😎
Left the office at 2pm and walked out of an air conditioned office into a furnace. A woman who walked out the same time as me looked at me and said wow I wasn’t expecting that. The heat was unbelievable I thought the city centre was on fire 🤣 I can’t believe I took my little denim jacket with me in case it got a bit nippy 😆 I must admit I was considering putting it on in the office as the air con was a bit fierce.
It was windy but like being blasted with a hair dryer. I had to secure the cover on my hanging chair as it was blowing about a lot and looked like it was about to take off!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -
Holiday sounds lush, you can take me instead if Mr SA whinges too much about the change 😁
