Well we are into hour 2 of the tests. He should be done just after 2.30. It’s really quiet in the room just us and one other person. He’s just got to keep blowing into a tube when the nurse brings it every 15 minutes. No chance of me escaping far but I’ve been to get a meal deal for my lunch.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -
It sounds very tedious, but that's better than traumatic. Have you escaped yet?

It all went smoothly thank you all. The test came back as negative for bacterial overgrowth so that’s one thing ruled out as the cause of his IBS.
To be honest the time went faster than expected. I wasn’t able to leave him for any length of time and also not able to concentrate to read as he never shut up talking apart from a blissful 20 minutes when he fell asleep. He got a sandwich and a coffee afterwards so he was happy about that.
The bus journeys all went smoothly although one journey was slightly marred by an elderly man sitting in the wheelchair bay who wouldn’t move for us. He didn’t need to be there as there were plenty of nearby seats 😠 I kept looking at him and giving him evils 🤣

Oh it’s a pity that the driver didn’t tell him to move.Wheelchairs take priority on our buses, even babies pushchairs have to be folded if necessary.

Afternoon all
Worked in the office for a few hours this morning, WFH this afternoon. I don't need to go into the office again now until Friday.
Utilised the remaining couple of hours on the 24 hour bus ticket for a free ride into the city centre. Picked up my weekly free coffee from Ner0.
Got a call from Mr SA to say he'd had a nasty fall in the garden. He's covered in bruises. At least he'd managed to get himself back up by shuffling on his a$$ until he got to a chair to pull himself up.
Had to go to B00ts and Lid! on the way home. Managed to secure a decent £2 fruit/veg box in Lid!.
Monday finance check done a day late. CC balance cleared.
Today's exercise has been walking home from work and it's live resistance bands tonight. Step count so far is 16,155 which is good considering I caught the bus to work.
Tonight's dinner is the final portion of tempeh bolognese from freezer stocks.

Sorry to hear about Mr SA's tumble. Did he trip over something? Though I know you've mentioned his balance isn't that good. Hope the bruising isn't too painful anyway.

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!2
