I love it when something you've had your eye on turns up in the sale. What's the dress like? The pasta bowls sound nice, too, and a perfect theme for summer.
Sorry you had to come home to cleaning.
Incidentally, I think of myself as somewhat active but I hit a step count like that perhaps a couple of times a year. 😊

It’s a bright green fruit print midi dress. I saw it in the window weeks ago and it caught my eye. I’ve been waiting for an offer so was really pleased. I bought a similar style dress last year in pink.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪4 -
Perfect for summer, especially if it's a zingy green that shouts joyfully! ☺️ Well done on waiting for the sales too. I love greens and can still remember a couple of green dresses from childhood.

Good evening all and happy Saturday 🥂
Went to the big Mr T this morning mainly to take the soft plastics recycling but also needed some salad stuff and mushrooms. Also bought a new bath mat as could do with a spare and they were reduced to £5.
Earlier this morning the dog had an accident on the landing carpet so had that to clear up. That poor carpet certainly takes the hits 😞 I’m going to get the carpet cleaner out again tomorrow and give it a good clean.
Cut the grass and spent some more time tackling the rhododendron trying to get it to a manageable height. Filled the garden waste bin.
Got a load of washing dry in the wind. Fed up of it being constantly windy though.
Tonight’s dinner was pizza, wedges and salad.
Today’s exercise was walking to/from Mr T and gardening, I’m just 43 steps short of 15,000 so will probably finish up just over.
Prosecco has been opened so that’s me asleep shortly 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -
Enjoy the prosecco 🥂
If the bath mats are on sale, is it worth lining all your carpets with them for dog and Mr SA accidents 😁

You can see why the stairs and landing is the only carpet in the house. I’d do away with that if I could.

Morning all.
Mr SA has a dodgy tummy AGAIN 😞 Just as well he’s on the bland diet today in preparation for tomorrow’s test.
Need to take the dog out shortly. At least it’s sunny today.
Not a NSD as, after searching unsuccessfully in store and online for several weeks, I’ve finally found a waterproof breathable jacket. It’s a lovely colour (Coral) and was in the sale 🥳 I really needed one for walking to work/dog walking on wet days. Another plus is that you can turn back the sleeves as they’re always too long on me.
Tonight’s dinner is leftover mushroom and spinach curry from Friday. There’s also leftover pizza for lunch and leftover Prosecco for tonight.
I stayed awake until 11pm last night as Mr SA declared the football boring so we watched some of the original songs show on BBC2 and music/dancing always keeps me awake.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6 -
Mr SA is having his boiled white rice and plain chicken. Despite him saying he doesn’t like rice he’s eating it. He’s talking about going to bed early to watch the football so I might be in charge of the remote 🙂
He’s nil by mouth apart from sips of water from 11pm. He can only drink black unsweetened coffee/tea and water right now.
Cleaned the landing/stairs carpet and it’s come up lovely. The colour of the water 😱
Gave the bathroom a good clean.
The weather turned out great today, I finally got some time reading in my hanging chair and finished my book. That was an unexpected nice surprise.
Not looking forward to tomorrow as 4 hours in a test will be very boring for me unless I can escape for a bit. We’re going on the bus with the wheelchair so will get one of those 24 hour group tickets again and use it Tuesday morning to go to work as it will still be valid.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -
i'd be tempted to have an appointment of your own which you must go to but you'll be back in time to collect him. Also, with my mum, I've found the staff take better care of those without anyone with them than those with, having had to have mum go to a couple of things by herself with hospital transport. She gets checked on, given cups of tea, help getting ready for whatever it is and is kept up to date about any delays. Then she gets personally delivered to the front door to meet her transport. When she's seeing a consultant they happily dial me into the conversation remotely to act as 'translator' and memory for whatever's said. When I'm with her , she's lucky if I can find a staff member to ask a question.

Hope it all goes smoothly and quickly tomorrow.
Use the time to do some surveys, get your compensation for boring time in the form of some coins into your retirement nice times pot 🥂
