Start a new book in a local coffee shop/park, p’rps?

I’ll need lunch at some stage or I’ll be very very hangry. Will need to play it by ear.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪3 -
I can hear your satisfaction at successful cleaning!
I hope tomorrow all goes well. Perhaps you could sneak out to 'find a coffee shop' for him to go to when he's finished. If that happens to include trying their wares while you're out - with new book, surveys etc. - then that's all research, isn't it?
As mentioned, they can always ring you if needed, and Mr SA may get that extra staff focus.

I’ll need to eat as I have low blood sugar and get very jittery if I don’t eat for a period of time. I’m hoping I can use the bus ticket to go back into the city centre and get something to eat or failing that at least be able to escape to the hospital cafe for a while.
The upcoming week is the worst in terms of appointments as after Mr SA’s appointment I have the hygienist on Wednesday. Roll on Thursday 🤣I’m Queen of the remote tonight but can’t think of anything I want to watch that Mr SA wouldn’t approve of so I’m opting for Rich House Poor House 😆

Morning all, happy Monday.
Day off work today but not exactly looking forward to the hospital visit.
Mr SA has just got up looking like death warmed up. He’s starving 😬24 hour bus ticket purchased. Need to remember to activate it before we set off. We’ll have time to take the dog out before we leave as we don’t need to set off until 9.30.
This week is the final week of the 4 week budget period, not checked finances yet but there should be a decent underspend again.
Today is a bit up in the air exercise and food wise. I’ll get a fair few steps in wheeling Mr SA about in his wheelchair. We had planned to go out for something to eat after the test but we might prefer just to come home as it will be mid afternoon by the time it’s over. At least he’ll get the results today.
Roll on tonight!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
Hope it all goes well without any misadventures. Shall be thinking of you.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!3
