Truly awful about the train crash. I used to live in Kempston as a child. I can’t begin to imagine how frightening it must’ve been for all concerned 🙁

Mr SA had an accident on his scooter this morning. He misjudged a pavement with a raised hump caused by tree roots and his scooter toppled over sending him and the dog flying. Downside of living in a leafy suburb the pavements are shocking. Fortunately two very kind people stopped their cars to help and got the scooter righted and him back on it. The dog was a bit shocked but unscathed. She was on his knee at the time. Mr SA was also none the worse for wear.

Anyway thanks to a tip off from @PennysIntoPounds I picked up the £5 pizza and beer deal from the C0-0p. I had a £1 off voucher plus another 25p one so was a bargain 👍

DS and the GKs visited this afternoon. DS bought Mr SA a crate of beer for Father’s Day 😬

Got a fair bit of time in my hanging chair it’s been very humid today, very warm with intermittent sun. No wind at all which is very unusual round here.

More or less filled the garden waste bin again, it was only emptied on Thursday.

Mr SA had made a right dog’s dinner of the hosepipe and got it all tangled up on its reel 😞 I spent ages unraveling it all but finally managed to sort it out. What a faff that was!

Today’s exercise has been lots of walking, just over 18,000 steps, cleaning and gardening.

Tonight’s dinner was veggie burger, wedges and salad.

Rose Prosecco is in the fridge and will shortly be opened 🥂So that’s me asleep in a bit 😆

Forgot to add to the exercise bit, I started the 7 day Summer Yoga Challenge this morning. It’s 20 minutes a day.

Is it me SA or is he having more frequent accidents, both falls and tummy, lately? It must be worrying as well as a practical nuisance.

He has more falls in the summer as he’s outside more. Not sure about the tummy issues, he has an upset tummy daily but it’s only noticeable when he doesn’t make it in time.

Don’t even ask about the hosepipe 😞 Somehow we can’t connect the reel back to the outside tap, I think Mr SA has lost the part. He was the one who removed it but he’s blaming me 😡I wish he’d leave things alone.

Have done some gardening, the garden waste bin is full to the brim.

Mr SA has had a crate of beer and a World Cup trophy shaped glass for Father’s Day. The glass seems to be better for his grip so hopefully he won’t drop it.

Forgot to say yesterday DGD is now undergoing tests for Autism, always suspected it with her though it’s not as obvious as it is with DGS.

Had a fair bit of time in my hanging chair today reading.

Exercise has been day 2 of the 7 day yoga challenge, dog walking and gardening.

Painted a pallet bright pink for a project at the bottom of the garden in my beach area/chill out zone. I’m really pleased with it so far just need to get some more bright coloured pots for it.

Tonight’s dinner was pizza, wedges and salad.

Loads of leftover Prosecco from last night as Mr SA was constantly flicking from one TV station to another and I lost the will and fell asleep. It was a mash up of Dirty Dancing, a live festival and football! I hate it when he does this, it drives me nuts 😖 Even DS commented on his lack of concentration span yesterday.

At least there’s no hospital trip tomorrow.

Girls mask autism better than boys usually. My eldest daughter was not diagnosed until adulthood and my granddaughters are both autistic. Sadly they both struggle with school so I hope your GC do ok. My younger DD (their mum) has had to give up work to home ed. With better education we now realise my husband is autistic/ADHD and various issues he has had in education as a child now make sense. It is mainly genetic.

Sorry about the falls and tummy problems etc for Mr SA. Hope he does not drink that crate of beer all at once.
