Happy Saturday 🥂
I filled in DD’s form to the best of my knowledge. I skipped some parts that were optional.
This morning we went to the big Mr T with the soft plastics recycling. Ended up spending £80 as they had loads of bedding plants in excellent condition for a good price and my favourite wine was on offer 6 bottles 25% off. I also bought myself a pair of denim shorts also 25% off. Plus the loo rolls I like 20% off. When we got back home I did loads of garden clearing and have filled the garden waste bin. Planted the plants I bought last Sunday. Will plant the ones I bought today tomorrow. I need to sort out which pots I want to fill.
Got a couple of hours in my hanging chair with a glass of rose and my book. Found a strange bug sitting on my wine glass and after googling it, it was a box bug, like a shield bug but brown.
Tonight’s dinner was pizza and salad. Prosecco is now open 🥂Exercise has been walking to/from the big Mr T and lots of gardening, 17,313 steps.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪5 -
This is the bug after it flew off my glass

I've seen the green ones, now I need to complete the collection with a brown one!
I saw a miniscule yellow ladybird… I think there are lots of varieties but this was notable for both size and colour, as well as lots of spots!

Morning all.
Another busy day ahead. Today’s garden task is to plant all the bedding plants I bought yesterday.
DD has just left for work so I intend to give the house a good clean while she’s out of the way.
I want to nip to Aldee as they have kettlebells on special buy today and I need a couple of heavier ones.
Also looking forward to some relaxation time in my hanging chair.
There’s leftover pizza for lunch and I’m planning a stir fry for tonight. Lots of leftover Prosecco too 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6 -
How you have time for all that in this heat, is anyone's guess. I was wilting in the garden by 10am and way too hot to stay out in it after that. Upstairs is like being in a greenhouse, so no chance of doing anything up there. Hope you managed to get it all done before it got too hot.

I can cope with the heat but not the cold.

I got my kettle bells 💪 They also had the chilli noodles back in stock so grabbed a few packs.
Planted all the plants in various pots. Was disappointed in my aubergine seeds not germinating so bought a big aubergine plant for £2 from a bloke round the corner who lives round the corner who has turned his front garden into a mini garden centre. I was chatting to him and he said at the moment he’s tending plants 24-7. All proceeds go to the air ambulance, last year he took almost £800. Can you believe by the time I got home the aubergine seeds in the greenhouse had started to germinate 😐
Had some time in my hanging chair and also my sunbed. The bottom of my garden where they’re situated is a proper sun trap so it was heavenly ☀️
