Yes you can’t beat being fully knocked out! But yes the pre part is difficult if you’re not mobile.

They fluffed mine too. Then fluffed the second one even worse. Completely out for the third.

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office this morning, finishing up at home.
Mr SA is getting himself in a tizzy about the tests and is saying he doesn't want them. I reminded him the issue has been going on for years and he's been waiting almost a year to hear from the hospital.
When I left the office I phoned him to let him know I was on my way and to set off meet me at Lid! as I wanted to pick up some heavy things. When I came out of the shop there was no sign of him so I phoned to ask where he was and he was still at home! I'd picked up a £2 fruit/veg box as well as the heavier stuff but managed to put some things in my backpack and started to walk home. I'd got about halfway there before he finally appeared.
I picked up my order of the MnS summer beauty bag on the way home and I'm really pleased with it. It's a lot heavier than I thought. I'll definitely use everything in the bag.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and it's resistance bands later.
Tonight's dinner is slow cooker three bean chilli with the final two taco shells.

If it's any reassurance, fluffing tests isn't the norm! Yes, the pre-test part is something one wouldn't do if there were an alternative, but it's time limited and can be the doorway to treatment. DH has had years of occasional check ups and treatment and it's meant a much better quality of life 90%+ of the time, as well as checking for secondary effects.
If he can be checked for allergies and intolerances as well, we've found awareness of what doesn't suit an individual is really useful - and this can change over time. DH can't tolerate lactose and finds a couple of other common foods affect his IBD as well, as does stress.

Sorry SA having a bad day - would you, like me to delete my comment about fluffing?

No, if that's your experience you're entitled to say so.

Yes he will also be tested for food allergies/intolerances. My DS has recently found out that the bloating he's been experiencing could be lactose intolerance. Since he started using lactose-free milk his symptoms have disappeared.

I mentioned 'fluffed' tests first I think, sorry. I was just trying to agree really that its a tricky thing anyway, without any special concerns or disabilities that Mr SA has. The prep too.

It's interesting they are testing for allergies - I don't think DH has ever been offered that though at one stage he was hospitalised with his condition. Perhaps it varies between regions?
It's good that your son has worked out what was disagreeing with him - inconvenient though it is to have to modify ones diet, I think people are more aware nowadays and it gives a way to avoid the symptoms.

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime but went in late as I wanted to do my live yoga class and I also needed to drop off some old clothes for recycling in Primarni. I also had a Mr M delivery first thing.
Bought an all day bus ticket that will see me through to tomorrow morning as I'm in the office again for a short time.
WFH for the rest of the day.
Managed to get two loads of washing dry thanks to it being windy and mostly dry.
Booked next Friday off as I'm meeting a friend. I'll have a potter around the city centre first then make my way to her house on the bus. It's a bit of a trek but I enjoy going.
Mid-week finance check done and cc balance cleared. Almost at the end of the 4 week budget period and still plenty left in the spending pots, although we were on holiday for a week of the 4 week budget period so it feels a bit like cheating 😆I've stocked up quite a lot though so hoping not to spend too much in the next 4 week period.
Today's exercise has been yoga and I've clocked up 11,000 steps so far even though I got a bus there and back to work.
Tonight's dinner is stir fry to use up some odds and ends in the fridge.
