Mr SA has received his first two hospital appointment dates. Fortunately it's the hospital a bit closer to home so he can go on his scooter and I can walk. He's got one test one day and another the next day. Shame they can't be done on the same day. He had a message from the hospital yesterday and I had to fill in a form for him online so I guess it must be that. Hopefully they'll confirm by letter/message as this was done by phone to Mr SA. The consultant mentioned a variety of things that could be wrong including a condition caused by chemo. At least he's heading in the right direction with it all now.
In money news I've just received the £10 M&S voucher from the magazine subscription.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
The hospital really are on it now aren't they - great that now he's finally got the appointments they are focused on getting him sorted.

Afternoon all
Worked in the office for a few hours this morning, finishing up at home. I used the 24 hour bus ticket I bought yesterday morning to travel there as it still had an hour left on it. Walked home via Lid!.
So good to think no more trekking into the office until next Tuesday, then it's a 3 day week - bliss.
Talking of Lid! I was disappointed to see no free item coupon this week and the 15% off offers are no good to me apart from the frozen fruit one as I buy this for my overnight oats. Having said that I've had 3 free items this month which is what I usually get in a month anyway.
Mr SA is driving me nuts pestering me to book another holiday as he wants something to look forward to. I told him I'm not booking anything until all the tests are done and he's got the results from the consultant. He's waited so long for these appointments I don't want to cancel anything now. He seems to think all he needs to do is say he wants something and his wish is granted. He forgets that going on holiday with him is actually quite stressful for me. Then there's the additional cost of scooter hire. It's not just the matter of booking something and hopping on a plane that he seems to think it is.
Today's exercise has been 14,251 steps so far and a live Zumba class later. It's the park volunteers group meeting tonight and if I decide to go there'll be additional steps walking to/from the pub where the meeting is.
Tonight's dinner is freezer surprise as the label has come off, that's if it was labelled in the first place because I'm a devil for thinking I'll remember what it is 🤣

Morning all, happy Friday.
WFH today as we're having the smart meter replaced with a more up to date one today. It's an all day appointment but they'll call just before they arrive.
Had a lovely relaxing start to the day as I got up at 5am as normal.
I didn't go to the park volunteers meeting last night as I was just too shattered. All I wanted to do was have a bath and an early night. My only involvement with the group on the whole is to litter pick and help out at events so I don't really need to attend and I catch up with the meeting notes afterwards.
Brace yourselves for this news - Mr SA has decided to cut down on beer!! Yes you read that right!! I think this has been brought about by all the upcoming medical appointments. He has cut down by 2 cans although 1 can has been replaced with an alcohol free one. We'll see how long this lasts…
End of the week finance check done and moved a few oddments to the Christmas pot. The Mr M delivery pass renewed today so that money has been moved from the sinking pots to the current account. CC balance has been cleared.
Today's exercise will be yoga, strength training and Zumba. Depending on when the meter swapper arrives dog walking may be added to this bundle.
Tonight's dinner is an old favourite smoked Basa and with cauliflower, leek and pearl barley.
Planning my jobs for the long weekend, mainly involving gardening now the garden waste bin has been emptied.

Well after all that faffing about swapping my WFH days because of the smart meter swap he was here all of 10 minutes. The email said it would take an hour.
Mr SA decided to ‘help’ while I was working and attempted to mow one of the the lawns. He only managed part of it but mowed over the clump of daisies I’d been so carefully mowing around 😞I finished work early and finished the mowing plus made a start on weeding. Still need to plant the plants I bought last Sunday but need to clear the borders of buttercups a bit first. I love buttercups but they’re taking over.
Had to fill in a form for DD’s ADHD/Autism referral. It was asking questions about her childhood I can’t honestly remember. Autism wasn’t a known condition, as far as I know, in the 80s and I just assumed she was hyper sensitive.I managed an hour in my hanging chair with my book. Looking forward to more time relaxing in it this coming weekend. I have loads to do but will factor in some relaxation time.
It was really windy this afternoon and found a peg that didn’t belong to us in the driveway 😆 It’s always windy here being so high up, drives me nuts but it’s great for drying washing as long as you have decent pegs 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -

How annoying about the daisies - but they will be back. Our little clump of them has spread this year.
I wonder if your son might have some memories from childhood that could help with the ADHD form? Or are there still any school reports, or would old photos bring thoughts to mind?

I found doing the form for little miss really difficult, as I hadn't really considered anything with her until school brought it up.
