I'm on leave now for a week, hurrah!

Not much planned really.  We are meeting some friends on Tuesday, and probably seeing family another day.  I fancy a trip to the seaside and little jwil wants to go family swimming.  A fair amount to keep us occupied.  It looks like the weather should be pretty good as well which is nice!  Amongst that I also want to do more of the usual decluttering and sorting.

DH built a couple of the pieces I got for little miss's room this morning which was a nice surprise. I can make a start on moving that up there.

We probably won't be going to swimming tonight.  There's a group of travellers on site, which isn't unusual and not normally a problem, but this group seem to be much more antisocial and have been vandalising cars, harassing people and causing damage.  I think I'd just rather avoid until they've moved on.  If I hear they've moved on during the day then we'll go as normal.

Have a good day everyone :)

Happy holidays 🌟 A trip to the seaside would be lovely. I live by the sea, but all around here is just ‘sea’ and not ‘the seaside’. I would love a proper English seaside with arcades, rock shops, lifeboat shop, etc. I do miss that. Here you can’t even buy a bucket and spade…😢 On the other hand you don’t have to fight to sit on the sand (well maybe just the midges) 😬

Thank you :)  We're heading to the seaside today :)  We don't tend to do all the touristy stuff, but it's enough to have a sandy beach and an icecream   No rock shops, but there are arcades and a lifeboat shop!  I'm very relieved we don't have to batter with the midges!

Well done on the PADs and weight loss 👏

Thank you :)  It's nice to have a break and for it to look like it will be mostly sunny too!

We're off to the beach today!  Hopefully the sea air will help shift the last of this cough.  We'll go nice and early to beat the crowds and then probably leave around lunchtime.  There's plenty of other stuff we can do in the area if we fancy it.

Have a lovely day everyone :)
