I'm loving the sun and glad it will be here for a bit. It would be nice if it lasted a couple of weeks for half term too!

Another lovely day today, so I'm doing all the bedding and getting it out on the line.
I watched and decluttered a DVD last night so something else gone. A pottering day planned. I've got some listings to do for DH as well.
I've requested time off in lieu for the Saturday and Friday that I've worked, that combined with a bit of flexi means that I can have half term off without using any annual leave, so that will be nice. Hopefully the good weather will remain as well so we can go out and about.
I've popped a gammon in the oven and we'll have that with salad today I think.
Have a good day everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
I've had a fairly productive morning! Helped little jwil finish his homework, done 18 listings, painted a step stool (which has been on my to do list forever!) and ordered some storage for little miss's bedroom from Ikea. She has been in tidying her room which should help when it arrives. I'm hoping I've measured correctly and it all fits!
One of the beds has dried and been remade, the other is probably just about ready as well.
DH is off out on his bike this afternoon so I shall chill and probably carry on doing the odd bit of sorting/tidying.

I've been scrutinising the Ikea site for storage options lately as well - as if we end up in the house we want we're going to need a fair bit of extra furniture! We bought some of their Billy bookcases when we first moved into our original rented flat together, then added to those with a couple more when we bought where we are now - annoyingly though they no longer do the same colour in those. They're so adaptable though, and as long as you choose wisely their stuff is decent quality.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I've (touch wood) got a much less pressured week this week, so took advantage this morning and walked home a different route from school which takes about 5 minutes longer. It took me up the hill which hurt my knee so much it prompted me to make the Drs appointment. I can very happily say that today, I got up the hill with limited aches and pains. I am so pleased about that! My fitness clearly still leaves something to be desired though
(though it's possibly slightly impacted by the cough as I'm still a little bit chesty).
I finished early today, but feel I've had a really productive day so that's all good too.
