I had great success with SW on line one time, but the second time I couldn’t get into it at all. I actually gave in after a few weeks and closed the account and they refunded some money…so you can get some back if it’s not working. I am having a lot better luck with nutra check as you still log your food and have a forum, but it’s calorie counting (and much cheaper), however it is really slow. That could be my age though. I’ve never been a fast loser and most weeks I’ve been losing between half a pound and a pound. I started at Christmas and will be lucky to get to my target by September 😢 I’m glad your knee has improved and hope you survive today 🌟🌟
You've done so well with your weightloss and September isn't too far away now!  Calorie counting just isn't for me. The thing with SW is it encourages me to eat better with a lot of fruit and veg, whereas calorie counting makes me just eat more processed foods as I can't be bothered to weigh and measure 🤦‍♀️ :D:D

I too lose slowly even though I'm big and it's terribly demotivating especially when I hear of larger people who lose many pounds at a time!

Good luck with SW. It's good to do something.

    Great your knee is improving.
Thank you :)  I think if I keep trying, eventually something will stick!

Always around for a SW ear~~or moan!
Thank you :) 😘  I'm sure there will be plenty of moaning :D  I do lurk on the SW thread on here as well, but haven't joined in.

I’m a WW gold member, got to goal 21 years ago and have maintained ever since. I found going to face to face classes the most motivating and made quite a few friends there. Since Covid it’s all been virtual which is great but not quite the same. I miss the proper classes. Good luck anyway 🤞
That's brilliant that you've maintained for so long :)  When I did SW before, I went to a really lovely group.  Sadly it closed down, and then I fell off the wagon.  I tried a couple of other groups but they just weren't the same.  I think the group support will be really useful and if I don't get on with the online membership then I will make myself find one.  There's a lot more on the app now than there used to be, with little videos and podcasts so I'm going to keep using that to try and replace the group thing.

This cough can do one!  It's so frustrating, and I'm not getting much sleep which isn't helping.  I kept nearly losing my voice yesterday which is really helpful as I'm interviewing tomorrow, Thursday and Friday and doing a webinar on Tuesday!  Not much chance of not talking.

Yesterday went well overall coughing aside.  It was a lovely sunny day and a nice event.  We were in a nice green spot too so that was good.  Today I plan on doing nothing at all as I've got a splitting headache.  DH has just informed me I need to give him a lift to take the van to the garage, but apart from that nothing at all!

DH has a load of stuff selling later today so that's good.  I sold 2 out of the 3 items I listed as well.

Have a good day everyone :)

The van has been dropped to the garage, and on the way back I noticed that one of the verges on the main road is covered with lovely wildflowers.  It was very cheery too see and looked fabulous.

I was planning on doing a bit of weeding this afternoon of our patio, but DH beat me to it whilst I was cooking lunch.  Hoping to get out in the garden and enjoy some sun this afternoon.  I plan on making myself a packed lunch later for tomorrow.  Although I'm at home, I fall down when I'm busy and look for stuff I can just grab.  If I can get back in the habit of prepping a packed lunch, then I've got something healthy ready to grab.  I think lunch and snacking are the two areas I need to change most.

I did a short workout from the app today as well.  Trying to take it gently and do small things rather than go overboard and try and change everything at once.  I'm continuing with my time restricted eating as well, as it's become a habit for me, and hopefully will add additional benefits.

DH's sales are going amazingly well, hopefully that will motivate him to do some more!

Thank you :)  I do a 10 hour window as it's easy to manage.  However I often start late/eat early so sometimes it's less.  I'm impressed with a 6 hour window though!

I hope I'll be ok with SW, I like the plan, and the basic principles suit me. I don't go in for the fake foods, and I will tweak it slightly by not using fat free yoghurt etc  so I'll have to see how it goes.  It's fine on the weekends when I've got more time, the test will be in the week when I'm juggling everything.

I have made my packed lunch for tomorrow though, so that's a good start!

Yes, I have tested and am negative.  I think the headache is more due to trying to sleep with my head raised, so from posture rather than anything else.  Thank you for the suggestion though :)

Glad the sales are going well.
Thank you :)  Looks like they have gone well, now to pack it all 😫
