    Just caught up on your diary. You do so well, always love the declutter tally and the over payment, do you pay this off daily or monthly to the mortgage?

    Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Progress not perfection.:T100%through my 1% mortgage challenge. 100% through my pb challenge. I’m not perfect but I’m good enough for now.

    I can understand your reasoning on the boiler. I too would want time to think it through instead of paying out in a panic.
    Also glad you are all ok. Annoying though...

    I don't think 13 years is particularly old on a boiler!!

    I'm glad it's not just me, I was shocked when he said they normally only last about 8 years.  I expected about 20 years!
