There have been some really good paying surveys on PA this week, so I must remember to check more regularly, particularly on my non working days! I've just done another one for over £5 so that will be another cashout when it arrives.
Not much else happening. Little miss is off school today and Tuesday for the strikes. They have total solidarity from me.
I'm looking forward to the long weekend!

I picked up another couple of bits on Prolific last night too thanks to nudges from your thread and others on here having mentioned it! I'm now showing a hair under £20 for the month which is decent enough - I'll hopefully pick up some more this side of month end too.
Also looking forward to the long weekend.
The teachers strikes are an interesting one - the viewpoints on them seem to be strongly affected depending on the ages of those involved. I think your two are incredibly fortunate that it is happening when they are so young - as losing huge chunks of school time during the secondary years when you are working towards exams really does have a huge impact on your education - not least in our case as it meant that the teachers themselves had a shortfall of knowledge relating to the new exam structure being introduced at the time and so that caused a double-impact on the students affected.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I would willingly pay more tax to have decently funded public services as that basic support, be that health, education, or general upkeep of our towns and cities is so important to people having a decent standard of living. That doesn't mean that there aren't problems in public services, but right now, the whole system seems broken."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". My weekend starts here! Hectic day today, but at least I'm done. I'm very pleased that a couple of projects I've been working on have shown some really positive results.
I've just seen that a new Strike book is coming out in September, hurrah! I'll look forward to that one.
Not sure what I'm up to this weekend, more of the usual I expect. I hope we get to see some sun at least!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
