I'm still padding, but only the basics as I haven't been keeping up with surveys etc.
The plasterer did come, hurrah. So that's all done now. Yesterday the electrics in the room plastered kept tripping, but I've turned them back on this morning and touch wood they haven't tripped again, so hopefully it was just a bit of moisture somewhere. I'll try plugging the hoover in later, and then if nothing fails, I should be able to move back out the back with my work computer. I hate not having two screens and working off the small laptop screen. The bathroom looks great though, and it will be good to get it finally painted and new flooring then that will be done!
Work event tomorrow, I'll be glad when this week's over. I'll have a little bit of time around my trains to have a little mooch around the city centre, so that will be nice. I've got my flu and covid jabs on Friday.
Still no news on the job front. It's not looking good though, there is evidently a battle going on about what has been proposed for our area. We've already lost a quarter of our headcount and if we lose any more we'll struggle to do the day job!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney4 -
