At least it's Thursday, so my weekend starts here!
I still haven't heard anything from the GP and healthy eating and exercise seems to have gone out the window again. I'll have to try and pick that up again when things settle down.
Little jwil is back to his cheerful self, so the couple of days of drama seem to have been a one off thankfully.
My car passed MOT thankfully, same advisories as last year, none of which seem to have deteriorated. I do need to look at getting the windscreen done though as it's horrible in the low sunlight. A quote suggested c. £400. I need to call round a couple of local companies and see.
I put in a request for someone to look at the boiler as there seems to be a leak when the heating comes on. I was just moaning to myself that I hadn't heard anything, when they called me to book a date. It's still under warranty so that's not going to cost us anything.
We've supposedly got a plasterer coming to do the bathroom and a couple of walls next week. He was recommended, and seems nice enough, but hasn't sent a message to confirm so I'm just hoping he turns up. I need to then decide whether to try and get a decorator or paint it ourselves. I don't want to do it, but equally don't want to have to wait forever, as the plumber came this week to take the heated towel rail off the wall and there's no point in putting it back on until it's painted. I'll probably try and contact a couple and see how long until they could fit us in. It would be good to find someone as I'd like to do other rooms as well at some point.
Work is incredibly busy and I've got to go and speak at an industry event next week. Not for long thankfully, but this is so far out of my comfort zone, I don't know why I agreed to do it 🤦♀️ I do small presentations locally, but not like this.
No news yet on the job, but we'll know whether we are at risk or not by the end of this month so whether it's good news or bad, at least we'll know which is better than now!
That'll do for now, got to take little miss swimming."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney5 -

We've just had a lovely weekend in Cornwall. We had a very nice caravan this time which was a lovely treat. Yesterday was good weather, so we visited lots of beaches. Unfortunately it was absolutely chucking it down today, so we wound up just coming home. Now trying to get everything ready for tomorrow. I'm really hoping the plasterer comes as I haven't heard anything from him.
