Ah I hope you manage a good day. The first day back is always the worst. Well done on the PADs
snd the decluttering. I really do feel your pain with the job. I’m absolutely in the same boat and having to go back to work after time off is awful.

I had my call back from the GP as promised yesterday - excellent service again. Good news is bloods came back clear so no evidence of anything wrong. However, not so good news is that my HBA1C came back as diabetic! I was only just over the prediabetes level in Jan so it seems to be a huge jump. To be honest, although I am shocked, I'm not surprised, the last few weeks/months I haven't been eating well at all, and I haven't been particularly active. I need to have another test in a couple of weeks to confirm.
So I need to make sure that is a wake up call for me and make a proper plan as to what I'm going to do."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4

Sorry about the blood test results. A loss of even 5-10% of weight can give major benefits. I appreciate that if like me you have a lot of wright to go it's a big target but breaking it down like that helped me get past my all or nothing approach.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
