Hi Jwil - as you know I totally relate on the job front. Not surprising you're having anxiety in the circumstances. It's a messy situation.
Good your house is coming together and that you are able to be more active with the kids.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The house is slowly getting there and it's nice to get out and about."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
Sorry for your anxiety. It makes sense. I recall when we had redundancies at work and everyone felt on edge, as we always had the feeling that not all information was being shared with everyone.
The house is sounding good.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Yes, it's definitely the case that information is not being shared and it's all just dragging on for so long. It's been going on for well over a year now.doingitanyway said:Sorry for your anxiety. The house is definitely improving, still a long way to go in terms of 'stuff' but progress with the structure is happening which is good."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Another quiet day today. DH has been out on his bike. I've mostly lazed around reading. I've arranged for friends to come round on Thursday so that will give me a nudge to get of my rear and do some of the spring cleaning I had planned to do but haven't got round to yet!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I don't have very high standards which helps
. I try and do any housework on my work days so that I can do other things on my non work days. It's a pain trying to do it, but the payoff for not having to do it when I'm not working is huge.
