  • South West Water used to be about the most expensive for charges as I recall - I remember my MIL being utterly astonished when I told her how much they were setting her D at when they moved to the house with the meter from where they'd been - it was about a quarter of what they'd been paying!

Glad you had a lovely birthday and a nice trip out, and another vote here for eating things you actually want too!

Hello @jwil I just tried PMing you but it didn't work :/
A while back you had identity fraud, if I remember correctly? My post redirection is very hit and miss. So, one of my financial frogs is to get regular credit updates. I remember you did this? How do I go about it please? Is there anything else I should do?
Can you PM me? Thank you  :)

For anyone else who is interested, there's links to all the credit reports here: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/check-free-credit-report/

Today has been a hectic day.  I had to finish early to take the kids to the dentist - all good there thankfully :)  The dentist is going private though, and it's impossible to get NHS dentists around here, even for children, so I guess that's going to cost in future :(

I walked this morning, and my knee is very painful again :(  It must be the hills that make it worse.  I live on a hill and the way I go is the gentlest slope so I don't know how to avoid it.  I'll keep on with the exercises and hope it will improve.  Uphill is worst, it's not so bad downhill and largely fine on a flat.  I don't think the new trainers are helping as they don't feel as supportive as I'd hoped.  It's so hard to find decent footwear!  There's nowhere here that does fitting.  Something that feels comfortable isn't always the same once it's been worn a few times.  I might get another pair of the ones I had before as they were ok.

My dentist went private several years ago.  I had to set up Denplan insurance to cover costs. It’s not right to have to pay for children though.

I can sympathise with footwear. I have constant problems as I am very limited in the style I can wear and because I walk on the side of one foot they dont last very long at all as the hel and the side of the shoe wears down quickly and this this knocks my balance even more than usual. My latest pair is almost unwearable after about 6 weeks and I am struggling to find more.
