We've had a lovely day today, apart from DH's car playing up on the way home. We made it back though in time to get the kids to swimming. A couple of photos from today:

I have done absolutely nothing today! Just sat around reading. I must say it's been nice
I seem to have chosen the wrong weekend to start healthy eating as we had takeaway tonight. I'll get going properly on Monday. I find it easier in the week anyway so can hopefully balance eating well in the week and loosening a bit on weekends.
We've had the water bill today, it's going up to £89 a month! I think I'm going to put my foot down and insist on going to a meter. I can't believe we are using that much! It's been an ongoing debate between DH and I since we moved into this house. If we are using that much, then at least I'll know we are paying for what we use. I've done a few calculators and get various results varying between we'd pay roughly half, and we'd pay around what we are paying so it's hard to know, but the 'average' water bill in this area is around half what we pay and we are not heavy users."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
