Even I am getting hay fever symptoms this year and I don’t usually suffer. My eczema has flared up too so don’t know if it’s connected. Mr SA suffers a lot with hay fever and is worse than ever this year despite taking antihistamines.Sounds like a good idea to get the bathroom sorted quickly before it gets worse. We had a heated towel rail installed when we had our bathroom replaced, no complaints there.Sorry to hear about the work issues 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I love my heated towel rails, I have a tall one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen….they are fabulous for drying washing in winter, you can get tons on them 😅 I recommend tall ones with lots of bars…think of the socks you can dry in one go 😬

When we had our heated towel fitted we got one with an electric element as well.
so we can still dry towels in summer when the heating is off. Worth you thinking about that2 -

I do want the radiator swapped for the towel rail, as it will tidy up that wall, so I'll see what the quote looks like first.WinterWarrior said:I love my heated towel rails, I have a tall one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen….they are fabulous for drying washing in winter, you can get tons on them 😅 I recommend tall ones with lots of bars…think of the socks you can dry in one go 😬

Happy Friday!
It's the first time in ages that I don't feel either under huge amounts of pressure to be doing stuff, or so exhausted that I don't feel like doing anything. So I've got no plans for today, but will just potter around.
The house is relatively tidy due to panic cleaning before the plumber came round so that's good too, as I don't have to spend my day doing housework!
DH has started talking about other work that we could get done, so that's a good sign in my book, considering we had a huge row the other day over the bathroom! He struggles with change, but as long as I plant the idea and let it fester he usually comes around."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". With the heated towel rail consider if you want one that is linked to your heating only or one with electric power as well. I went for the first which was cheaper but regretted it a little later. The other thing to beware of is that they usually aren't as warm as a radiator would be. They look lovely though.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sorry you've been struggling.
You do so well with juggling all that you do.
I remember when redundancies were on the cards in our office. It changes the whole atmosphere at work.
Getting the bathroom done sounds like an excellent idea.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
