Just posting PADs is a good way of keeping contact until you can do more. All good. Take care.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Morning everyone. I'm still plodding along. Sales keep trickling out, and we are still gradually adding stuff to the declutter list. DH has actually tackled some long standing bits so that's good. He's also got a bit more enthusiasm for getting stuff done on the house which is very good!
Our kitchen taps have been done, and it seems like a luxury having taps that work and don't drip, and don't need huge amounts of effort to turn on and off! We've also had the quote for the bathroom which came in as expected, so we are waiting to hear when that can be done. That is very exciting. Not so much for little miss who said 2024 was turning out to be the worst year of her life due to losing the cat and now changing the bathroomI think she will come round though, especially if we give her a say in the flooring/paint.
Work still sucks and they have delayed letting us know about the restructure until autumn, rather than next month. Least surprising bit of news ever, but no less frustrating.
School is still incredibly busy. Little jwil is on a residential at the moment, next week he's on a school trip, 2 days at secondary, and little miss also has a school trip. I have election day. Hopefully by the end of next week things will start to settle down. With every activity ticked off the list my mental load eases slightly. Trying to remember who needs to be where, when and with what, and juggling my work hours to fit it all in is hard work! I'm very grateful for the flexibility I have with work though and try to keep that at the forefront of my mind when moaning!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
