I agree with you that everything is voluminous clothes wise. Fitted clothes are much more flattering. My DD has the same problem with medics not being able to take blood. Glad the eye test went well. I’ve heard mixed reviews about varifocals so good that @beanielou has a positive experience to share.

Fashion is overrated, it’s much nicer to be your own self and just choose what you like to wear.

    Varifocals are fantastic.
I'm sure I'll get used to them but I have visions of me staggering around like I'm drunk!

I agree, even though I'm big I look better in fitted clothes.

I've got 30 days to try them, so at least I'll be able to give them a good go.

I hate fashion, and have never been into it.  The problem is it's practically impossible to find anything to wear!  I can't buy from most 'normal' shops, and plus sized shops rarely have classic styles.

It's sunny today, so the seaside is calling!  We are going early to hopefully avoid the crowds.

I'm going to have to drag some money back from my PADs account :(  I've had an expensive month, and I've started putting some of the extra spends on a CC, but it's getting to the stage where I'll struggle to clear it out of next month's wages, so I don't want to start carrying it over.

    Have a good day everyone!

Lovely day at the seaside and a bit of fossil hunting. I was very tempted to go for takeaway tonight but was very good and made us all a salad instead!

Good to read the job is a bit more secure than when last I checked in.

Thank you :)  There's no guarantees that my job is secure, but I'm a little more hopeful.  We've still got the big restructure to go through and no one knows what that will look like.
