It seems to have been a long and spendy month this month. Lots of stuff for school coming in. I've booked lunches up to the summer holidays and little jwil has come home with a trip letter needing £65.
My washing machine is playing up which is frustrating as it's less than a year old. It's not spinning. I've cleared the filter. So I'll need to try and look at that at some point. The manual is a series of videos which I find so frustrating as I don't want to watch a load of videos to find out which is the correct one, I work much better with words that I can just scan through to find the appropriate point, and keep referring back to it. (I know lots of others prefer videos, I wish they'd do both!).
After today I'm off until Wednesday so I'm looking forward to that! I've got my appointments tomorrow, but no real plans otherwise. The kids want to go family swimming as usual. Little miss got two Brownie badges last night, and has done another two which she'll get after the holidays. She's on a mission now, so she might be wanting to complete another she's got on the go as well in half term.
I'm so pleased about the election, including the opportunity for extra cash!

Can you just get them out to the washer as it will still be under warranty in the first year. Now is the best time to make a fuss before the year is up! It’s not fit for purpose if it breaks in the first year and if if turns out to be a bigger issue you may get a replacement.

Can I ask which Current Account you have that pays 4%? I've been with Halifax forever and they give nothing! Very lazy of me I know!Agree that you should get WM dealt with under guarantee, that way it's in the system.Hope you have a lovely 'long weekend' XXI Believe.....

I think perhaps I had too much weight for the cycle.

And now I'm done until Wednesday
I did use the word 'no' at work today, so am quite pleased with myself. I've got enough to do without essentially doing other's work for them. It also meant that I left at roughly the time I planned today, rather than being stressed and running out of time to finish what I wanted to get done.
I got my notification today that I'm allocated the same place for the GE. I have permission from my boss too so that's all sorted. Just need to book the kids into before and afterschool club.
Tomorrow I have my health check/blood test and opticians. I must re read the email to check what they are going to be doing! I still am not eating well so it won't be great I'm sure. Tuesday me and the kids have the dentist, so I'll be fully MOT'd after that
I've got the urge to go out this weekend, but will see what the weather is like. I have the new Stephen King book to get stuck into anyway.

Thanks jwil, I'll have a look, but I'm not at all tech savvy!

Good luck with the appointments tomorrow. At least you’re getting them all out of the way. Good news your job looks secure for now although the changes sound unsettling. Why are changes at work never for the better.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
