Thankfully nothing major wrong with the dog, just a nasty cough. She's got antibiotics, anti inflammatories and is in isolation until it clears. We are very relieved, considering we've never heard a cough like it, even the vet commented.
That means we probably won't be doing a lot now for the rest of the holidays sadly as I wouldn't want to leave her alone too long when she's like that. I'm going to take the kids swimming this morning so they can at least get out for a bit."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". That’s a relief about the dog. It was such a worry.

Thats good re the dog and some treatment being available. I hope you can enjoy the rest of your break even if you can't leave the poorly pup too long x2

The benefit of missing a day of your thread is the dog was hacking (OMG) but I am relieved to know the dog is ok. Sounds like you need a swim after all that. EnjoyIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
