Thank you everyone
It's such a relief. She still sounds awful, but I think is coughing slightly less often than yesterday. She's also perked up and came to welcome us home from swimming, and attempted to be her usual hyper self when DH came home from work whilst coughing her head off. Yesterday she didn't even try to get up which was a worry. Hopefully she'll continue to improve.
Swimming was good, it's always nice, and as ever I come away wanting to do it more often. We managed to master another skill with little miss, so another productive session.
I'm hoping now that I can relax and enjoy the next couple of days, and try and do some of the stuff around the house I was planning to do. It's due to be mild so hopefully I can get all the doors open and air the house. It always makes me more inclined to go into the garden to do a bit if the patio doors are open too. Fingers crossed we see a bit of sun too. My cough seems to have eased off mostly now too, so hopefully soon, once the dog is better, we will be a cough-free house for the first time in months. DH is still coughing a bit, but not too much now. It's been a horrible time.
I've been doing ok with my meals but have been comfort snacking a lot over the last week or so. It does mean that the Easter chocolate has mostly gone, so I shall try and get back to focussing on eating well again."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I don't like it in winter when everything is closed up. I love having all the doors and windows open.
Thank you. I really hope so too!Sun_Addict said:Good news about your dog. Hope your house is cough free soon.

Just waiting for my shopping to arrive, and then I shall get on. I've got the doors open, so can hear the birds and feel the fresh air, it's lovely, even if it's grey and murky out there.
It's recycling day today, so I shall try and focus on paperwork I think so that I can get rid of anything quickly.
A bulky item sold yesterday so it's nice to see that gone. DH took it for posting today.
Dog is obviously full of beans this morning which is nice to see, but she coughs more when she's not resting

I'm glad the dog is feeling better. When our labrador came home from kennels with a cough my dad gave him Buttercup syrup. Most labs have the digestive systems of sewer rats so ours was quite happy with a slurp of something off a spoon4
