I am the same with making meals. There are just 2 of us, but I end up eating what MrWW wants because I can’t be bothered to make 2 meals. I know batch cooking could solve this if I could just sort myself out!
I hope you feel better soon.
im on linked in, but don’t understand it. It just seems to be for showing off 😬
It's just a huge faff isn't it.  I don't like batch cooking as stuff doesn't seem to freeze well here, or I'm just not that great a cook :D

Glad it's not just me on linked in.  I think it's good for those who are ambitious and like to network, but I'm very intimidated at the moment.  Feel free to message me if you want to connect.

Sorry you are feeling grotty. It is frustrating when you are not entirely over the last one!
Thank you both.  It's so frustrating and it feels like it's been one thing after another for weeks!

Best laid plans and all that...

Breakfast - strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, greek yog, hot cross bun (the last!)
Lunch - veg soup and a packet of crisps, easter egg
Dinner - chippy battered sausage, couple of chips, and battered mars bar (!) 🙄😁😂

Can anyone tell me why I don't lose weight? I can't imagine what's going wrong... 🤦‍♀️

I decided earlier to park the stir fry as I couldn't be bothered with the coughing, so was going to do freezer food for them, and probably have something light for me.

However, then I decided this afternoon that it was time to take the cat to the vets, as she's still not eating, and I got some cat milk in my shopping today as she normally loves it, and she wasn't interested in that either.

So I'm home and almost £400 lighter, but with nothing to show for it other than a cat who does have a temperature, but nothing obviously wrong with her.  That is for bloods and urine tests so I should have a better idea tomorrow when the results come in.  She's lost a lot of weight, so there's definitely something going on.

Of course, she came in and wandered straight to the dog bowl to nick her biscuits :D  She's only got a couple of teeth so who knows how she's managing to eat them!  Hopefully she hasn't just decided that she's gone off her cat food, as I've just had a month's worth delivered this afternoon!  Seriously though, I'm glad we've brought her home, and hoping we get some answers tomorrow.

As there was a chippy near the vets and we've got swimming with little miss, we decided to just grab something.  It's not one we normally go to, so when we saw deep fried mars bars on the menu we just had to try them :D  It was absolutely rank, not something I'll be repeating :D:D

I love the berries, but the mars bar won't be repeated!

Ooh I used to love a battered mars bar. Not had one in years.
I have just eaten an Easter egg.

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling great, there seem to be a lot of bugs going round at the moment. Hope it passes off.

I always imagined a battered Mars bar would work with icecream. I can’t understand why you can’t lose weight. I have the same mystery as a takeaway korma and sides fell into my face tonight 😖
Linkedin does seem much too networky…next they’ll be making us stand up and introduce ourselves (shudder). I’d love to connect, now I need to work out how to message on here 😅
I hope your cat is ok.

I've never had a deep fried Mars bar, I'm so jealous. I've never fancied a deep fried pizza though which was the other item that seemed to be discussed by my friends around the same time.

I had chicken kebab for dinner last night because the HT was paying. I had half last night and the other half of it tonight. We have to order a bit of doner meat for the cat too. She thinks she's human and cat food is just about the lowest priority on her list. Your poor cat looks like she'll be needing an antibiotic jab then....the last time ours had one of those she'd been fighting with her sister and she had an infected scratch on her leg. I hope your furry supervisor is ok.
