Little miss is quite poorly bless her. She was totally wiped out yesterday, and this morning her throat is red raw and swollen with the usual tonsillitis white spots. I'll see how she is today and if no improvement get in touch with the GP tomorrow before the weekend.
My appointment yesterday was really good. The person I saw was really thorough. She says it's a problem with one of my tendons and has given me some exercises to try out. She offered to refer me to physio straight away, but I said I was happy to try the exercise first. She says it will take 6-8 weeks to see an improvement, and if not then I can get referred straight to physio. The link she sent me for information describes the pain perfectly, so it all sounds good. She also said I had good strength and was very flexible, which was really nice to hear as I've been beating myself up about how my fitness has declined, and so hopefully it's not as bad as I thought. It was a really positive appointment, and I'm relieved that I can continue trying to get active without worrying I'm causing problems. She didn't think my fall in covid was really causing any issues, but said if the exercise doesn't help they will send for an x ray to confirm.
This week has been horrendous at work, even without having to manage sick children. Today I've only got one meeting so can hopefully do some actual work.
We have parents evening for the kids tonight as well so hopefully all positive there.

Thank you all. I'm really hopeful it works.
Little miss is desperate to go back to school tomorrow, I can't see how she can really. I'll have to see how she is in the morning.
I'm off now til Tuesday hurrah! Though I might log on to a meeting tomorrow to hear outside discussion about a project I'm involved in."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3
