Well done on the PADs.Yes, I've been struggling again today.

Made a start on the painting, the room looks much better already, but I am disappointed that I didn't get a coat over the whole room.
I'd forgotten I still had to wash down the walls and paintwork so that took more time. It was very dusty though so I'm glad I did it.
We went and got the kids to choose the colour paint that they want, so at least that's done when I am ready to do it. I've measured up the window so will look for some curtains/net as well.
I'm struggling with my mental health at the moment. I've got no enthusiasm for doing anything, and then when I do try and do stuff it just hurts, mostly, but not only my knee. It's really getting me down now. I know part of the answer has got to be my weight, probably a massive part, but I just can't find the motivation to deal with that either. It's just yet another thing on my mental load which I am struggling with. Everything is such an effort at the moment."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Painting hurts! Us desk job people don’t have the muscles for holding our arms up for long periods of time. When our room needed a third coat I nearly cried 😢 It’s time I decorated again, but I’m putting it off.I always struggle with enthusiasm too, so I’ve no real fixes, but I understand. What colours did the kids choose? Blue for little jwil, and dark pink for little miss. It will be nice for their rooms to have a bit of personality.beanielou said:I blame the time of year.

Thank you everyone for your support, I really appreciate it.
Plumber (finally) came this morning, so it's all sorted now thankfully. I have no idea about the cost, as I didn't get a quote. Hopefully it won't be too painful. It's one niggling worry sorted now though.
Little jwil was sick last night, so I have him home for today and tomorrow. Not sure why, he seems fine today, but there was a big pile of bedding to wash, so I was getting more and more stressed the later the plumber was, wondering if they were coming at all.
I've got an awful week at work this week, just constant meetings. I hate it, no time to do actual work. Tomorrow there's no breather at all, apart from 30 minutes at lunchtime and that's only if the meeting before doesn't overrun. Little miss is doing a dance performance so I'm going to that and will pick her up as well. I normally have my long day on a Tuesday so will have to log back on afterwards to try and catch up.
I received £5 in my bank account today from swapping out a paper note. I sent that to the mortgage.
I've been unsubscribing from newsletters and email subscriptions to try and get some time back. I'm doing it at work as well - whilst it's important that I know what's going on in the industry and wider, I am considering what value I get from each one, and whether it's worth the time spent looking at it. Every few seconds counts and fewer emails are always good.
DH sold a few items yesterday so that's good too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
