Have a look on the EPC register at your neighbours properties and see what they are rated as. all properties sold since 2008 have one.

They will check insulation in the roof space, so will need access to loft. Then access to boiler, will visually check windows - can be done from outside, and brickwork outside.

Thank you.  There really are.  He had another bad night last night, but I'm sending him in anyway today as he's not coughing so much during the day, and is well in himself.  At least it's the weekend.

Thank you, that's really useful.  Not as intrusive as I was worrying then.  They'll have fun accessing our loft as it's fully insulated with stuff :D  I've been having a good nose at the neighbours certificates.  Most are C rated so we might not be eligible but some of the other houses which were sold in an less updated condition were rated lower so I guess it depends on how the bits of work we have done make a difference.  It will be good to know though.

DH sold some stuff yesterday so that's another 3 parcels gone :)  The kids have some more bids on their stuff too so that will be going out in the next couple of days.

I've been doing a bit of admin this morning and catching up with the financials.

Once I get the kids to school I am going to enjoy the peace and potter around.
