I didn't think I'd reach £100 on pads this month, so that's an achievement! I left myself tight this month due to bumping up savings, but surveys have been very good to me this month, and I've cashed out again today.
I did get a bit nervous as I got a message saying I'm testing a new payment system for PA, but I've cashed out twice now and it's all gone through immediately as normal so that's a relief.
Work is busy but it's really good to have the list of focus and priorities given to me by my new line manager. It really helps.
Little jwil is presumably not going to school today as he's got a nasty cough. I would normally have seen him by now so assume he's not feeling great. Better go and check.

He's ok in himself, but a nasty cough.

I was concerned about the message, as assumed there would be more faff to deal with, but it works exactly the same as before, and both times I've cashed out, it's gone to my paypal account immediately, so doesn't actually seem any different than before! I tried cashing out this affy too and like you, no problems, I think there was just an extra message appeared on the screen but I didn't have to do anything different 👍🏼jwil said:

I hope little Jwil recovers quickly.
Well done on the sales, decluttering and PADs. Them getting a reward for their efforts will hopefully make it more repeatable for them.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm hoping it will be a good incentive for them. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -

Another week done, hurrah!
I'm so tired. It was another bad night with little jwil coughing himself sick, so he's had another day off today. His cough seems to be better today so fingers crossed it's on the turn now and he can go back tomorrow.
I've decided that tomorrow, apart from the school runs, I'm going nowhere and am going to chill for the day. I need some silence and have done a lot of peopling this week so I need a break.
I had a phone call from the cavity wall insulation people asking if we were still interested. They said they would do the extractor fans for free. I've said yes, and got an appointment for next month. My mental health is much better than it was when I cancelled the previous appointment, and we've made some progress with tidying since then too. I've also got a month rather than a few days so I don't need to panic about getting everything done immediately.
Those who have moved fairly recently, what does an EPC involve? They are going to do an unofficial one for us as we don't have one and a rating is needed to get the free insulation. Is there anything in particular I need to make sure is accessible? Where do they go?
Off to swimming with little miss in a bit, then my weekend can start
