You did very well indeed with the old TV lasting so long and now you have a new better one for a good price. Enjoy ☺️
Yes, definitely a bit of overwhelm I think.

I'm hoping that it will. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
We had a quiet day yesterday so I'm feeling more on form today thankfully.
DH had a look at the two leaky bits and has done a temporary fix. Ideally I'd just like to get through this year so I know what's happening with work and so that I can bump up the savings as much as possible so that I don't immediately wipe them out.
I won another instalment on the lottery last night, I seem to be having a flurry of tiny wins. I wish they'd just give me the jackpot!
Today I am another year older and wiser so we are heading out for a bit today before the rain comes in. I've had some lovely gifts this morning and some vouchers to fill up my kindle
If we head in the vicinity of the swedish shop I want to stop in and have a look at rugs. I want to get one for the extension as the carpet is worn through in a few places. It's the place where I work, and also my quiet area for reading by the doors, so I plan on decorating it this year, and it will be nice to have a big rug to cover most of the horrible 70s carpet.
Have a good day everyone!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

Happy birthday. I hope you have a fantastic day 🎉🎉🥂🎉 also boo to the anxiety its such a horrible thing to suffer with both myself and my DDs suffer to degrees but mines not as bad as it was when I first joined MSE. I remember I was an anxious wreck back then but it's calmed down now. DD1 had CBT to treat hers and then found that the hypnotherapy training she did for when she had the DGS also helped a lot. DD2 is a social anxiety and is ongoing but she is doing ok. It's weird because she works in a very stressful job dealing with patents and their families at a time when they aren't at their best and she get shouted at daily but it doesn't phase her. She has rovmzke multiple phone calls a day to different agencies and relatives but if she has to phone someone to come and repair something in her flat she is really anxious. She doesn't like having strangers in her flat doing work. She also struggles on social occasions but has forced heslf to join in and it's getting easier.
