I'm having an admin day today because (hurrah!) the boiler is being done. Hopefully by the end of the day we'll have hot water and heating!
I've done an updated financial statement for my DMP and notified my creditors. I've upped my payments a little bit which will hopefully keep them happy for a while.
I've sent off a complaint to my mortgage company about an issue they've just notified me about which is from years ago.
I've done a few surveys including a nice £9 on PA which has already paid out so I'll PAD that tomorrow.
We met up with friends at the weekend and also went to a couple of NT places so we've well and truly made good use of our membership this year.
My anxiety is through the roof at the moment. I'm hoping that once today is over, I can just hibernate and chill out for a few days to get myself back on track. The house is fairly tidy because of the boiler, and I'm ready for Christmas with everything wrapped (just need to get fresh food), so my mental load should reduce a bit and I can hopefully relax and just potter about.
Hope everyone is well

Hopefully being warm will help your mood. I'm being kinder to myself on the heating this year as it did affect me feeling relatively cold at times last year.
Well done on the PADs and updated DMP.

Thank you. Yes, the heat is definitely helping, it takes a lot of the tension out of the muscles.savingholmes said:Hopefully being warm will help your mood. I'm being kinder to myself on the heating this year as it did affect me feeling relatively cold at times last year.

I feel a lot better today. It must be partly the heat and partly the fact that there's no pressure to do anything now. Hopefully my digestive system will settle in a couple of days as that's always bad when I'm stressed. I'm more inclined to eat better now that it's warm again, so that will help too. I've been eating too much bread and not enough fruit and veg so that won't have been helping.
The kids want to go swimming today, so we are doing that later. The exercise will be good!
Little miss is engaged in creating things out of the huge boiler box, so she's having great fun. I've popped a lot of cardboard out for recycling today, hopefully they will take it, if not, I'll pop it into the shed for a tip run at some point. I've made sure it's all flattened and folded, so not huge pieces.
Little jwil has taken himself off to his room, so I'm going to sit in silence and chill for a bit with a book before we go out.
Have a good day everyone.

Ahhh reading, swimming, and the ability to put the heating on - all priceless in their own ways. Well done too for realising that your MH isn't great at the moment and taking steps to treat yourself kindly over it. It's so easy to convince ourselves that we have to just keep on keeping on, and it reakly isn't helpful.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
